Car is less than 6 years old, steering completely fails in very cold weather despite a fully electric epas steering system (no power steering fluid). In addition to the radiator and fuel pump needing replacement within the full lifespan of this car, it is very unsafe and not road worthy.

The vehicle will struggle to start or fail to start once refueled. When idle the car will increase to 1,500-2000 RPM without assistance. At times while idle, the vehicle will also flutter around 400-500 RPM threatening to stall (has done more than once). The fuel gauge reads inaccurate measuring a quarter tank more than actual. Check engine light for a canister purge value issue.

I just bought is car Wednesday the 09th 2020 and on Thursday the 17th I picked my car up from the garage after getting it inspected, I go back to work and leave around 730pm I went to drop my friend off at her house, her house is located on a hill, once I turned the corner and hit the gas, the car backfired and felt like it was going to stall, everytime I stop the car is hesitant to move everytime I try and take off. Also while I was on my way home I had to take a road with a hill and what a mistake I didn't think I was going to make it to the top that's when the check engine light came on.

Ford Focus 2013 titanium in March 2020 on interstate 90 between St charles mn and eyota mn stalled without warning at 70 mph and had 32 miles to empty reading on gauge. Vehicle flatbed towed to home 35 miles away and gas was added and vehicle ran fine. August 2020 same vehicle stalled without warning on state highway at 60 miles per hour with 21 miles to empty on reading. Again vehicle flatbed towed home and gas was added and vehicle has ran fine since. I believe that the gas gauge is faulty in this model of Ford Focus as in other years but no recall yet for model 2013 year. We will make sure gas doesnt get below 50 miles as this has happened twice now within 5 months and not a coincidence.

My car is constantly having electrical issues the radio will cut off in the middle of playing it won't turn back on my car literally hass to be turned off for a certain amount of time before the radio will come back on at all and then it disconnects and makes a loud popping sound like somethings going to catch on fire in the car won't even be on nor will the key be in the ignition I feel that it is very unsafe due to the fact that that kind of annoys is a big distraction and could cause an accident. Also while driving my car has hesitated a number of times while at a stoplight or in the rain or while I'm trying to make a turn or when I'm taking off it doesn't matter it's like it doesn't get enough gas or it has problems switching with the rpms and this is a constant problem this is not just one or two times this is since I have owned this vehicle and it's a little bit ridiculous considering this car has a five star rating definitely not a five star rating car considering how many times I've been stuck out in the middle of traffic and almost gotten into car accidents because of this cari would really like for this to be investigated quickly this is a liability to anyone who owns this year make and model of car

Riving the car sudenly the car heasites to go on speed like the trans mission is not responding also when you park the car and came back to start the car don't start a few hours later you came back and the car starts, we went to the dealer and they did a diagnosis on the car and told us that the car has a module transmission and clutch problem, we find out days before that the car has a recall in that particular area but the dealer told us the car was in accident and has a rebuilt title and that voids the warranty on the repairs and we have to pay from our pocket I told the technician that we bought the car and we didnd't know that the car has a rebuilt title until this day he told us that we have to pay from our pocket $2,200 for the repairs

I reported this issue when I had my Focus in 2014....it was dismissed. Now, 4 times it was in the dealership and 4 times it wasn't fixed, 4 times I had to pay for a rental for 2 weeks each time, costing me a total of $2,755 in all for nothing to be resolved. I traded the vehicle because it was literally a safety hazzard but no one would designate it that at the time.

The fuel tanked is deformed and the fuel gauge reflects one-quarter to one-half of a tank of fuel when it is actually empty. The recall notice indicated the fuel tank could be replaced if deformed. My fuel tank is deformed and I mentioned that to the service advisor. He didn't seem interested in my concern. Not knowing how much fuel is remaining in the tank is a real problem. The tank is deformed and should be replaced as per the recall.

The contact owns a 2013 Ford Focus. The contact stated while driving 70 mph, the vehicle stalled with several unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the fuel gauge was inoperable. Roadside assistance was called and jump started the vehicle and added fuel to the vehicle. The contact also experienced the failure while driving at 55 mph. Additionally, after refueling the vehicle, the accelerator pedal was depressed, the RPM revved up however, the vehicle hesitated to respond. The contact stated that the vehicle respond up to 10 mph. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 18V735000 (fuel system, gasoline). The vehicle was taken to mike reichenbach Ford Lincoln located at (600 N coit St, florence, SC 29501), to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that an unknown software update needed to be performed which was still pending. The failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 120,000. Consumer stated that vehicle was taken to mike reichenbach on 9/12/2019 for the repair and was told that the vehicle was repaired. Consumer found out later that no repairs were actually made. The check engine light came on and vehicle was taken to an auto zone where it was found out that there was an issue with the canister purge valve which was part of the recall. On 3/2/2020 consumer took vehicle to raceway Ford of darlington to be repaired. Raceway Ford refused to repair vehicle because mike reichenbach had closed the recall. Consumer says vehicle continues to stall randomly and that after refueling vehicle has to be running with the gas pedal depressed before it can be driven.

I have been calling my local Ford dealership (tamiami Ford in naples, Florida) to schedule an appointment for recall 18S32 for months now and they still have not scheduled an appointment with me. The service department takes down my information and tells me they will call me back to schedule an appointment, and then to repeat all my information again to a voice message. I have never received a call back to schedule an appointment. I have called and asked to speak to the service manager several times, always getting voicemail saying he is currently on a call with a customer and will call me back urgently. I have left several messages on the service managers voicemail. The service manager has never called me back. This has been ongoing since August 2019 and I am receiving letters from Ford reminding me I have a recall and to get it fixed with my local dealership, while I literally cannot schedule an appointment.

Ive called not one but two dealerships and they keep saying they can only fix the doors on my car but the fuel has had a recall on it for just as long I can not continue to be afraid to put my 4 month old son in my vehicle because they refuse to fix or even attempt to fix the issue my vehicle continuously cuts off at random times anywhere even going down the interstate I always keep it above half a tank and it still cuts off im putting my hole family at risk due to a issue Ford refuses to fix and I can not afford to get a newer car or even a different car. I also can not drive a rental while it sits at a shop for months. It cuts off taking off slowing down and even running at speed.
