Car would not start. Jump started battery. Dashboard reference transmission error. Press ok to clear the message. Shifted from park to reverse and the car would not move. Shifted to drive and car would not move. The vehicle has been to the dealership for the intermediate shifting problems. Ford refers to the shifting problem with transmission as a customer satisfaction program and not a recall. Referencing 14M02 as the control module being the culprit and 14M01 as the transmission clutch being the cousin of the culprit. There are several posting indicating a lack of addressing the faulty issue when driving. We do not believe Ford is taking an active role in identifying tractability of the components we understand there is a lawsuit for this particular problem.

Vehicle shudders violently at times from stop up to 10 mph. This seems to be an intermittent problem for over a year. But has become a problem as it loosened the heat shield. I had warranty work done in September of 2018 and they mentioned this should fix the problem but it hasn't.

I bought the vehicle at 30,000 miles on it with a new transmission that Ford had to replace due to the faulty original one the car came with. A year after buying the car off a Ford dealership lot the transmission dies again at 70,000 miles. Two transmissions needing replaced in this vehicle and Ford won't pay to fix the transmission the second time. Even after they discovered the cause of the transmission breaking down the second time due to a part missing. I've had the car a little over a year. Ford is at fault and should pay to fix my car.

My 2013 Ford Focus has an issue with a stuttering/shuddering type feeling. When I am stopped and then begin to try and accelerate is when the problem occurs. This has been very dangerous at times when I am entering traffic after being stopped. My car does not get to proper speed quickly enough.

For the past 3 years my Ford Focus 2013 has had the radio system go out almost every time I drive it. Typically there would be a loud pop, then it wouldn't work until I restarted the car. This wasn't a big deal to me-- I don't mind driving without music. The past month it has gotten much worse. Instead of just a loud pop, it will often make a crackling or screeching noise for up to a minute or two. This has happened both while I'm driving as well as when the car is not even on (most likely draining the battery, since the radio lights up when making the noise). Today was especially concerning. I left my house to walk to my car, and could hear from my backyard (to the side of the driveway where it was parked) a loud screeching, popping, crackling noise. I walked up to my car and, sure enough, although it wasn't even unlocked, still had all the doors shut, and I hadn't even touched it, it was making these noises that could be heard from a distance. I got into my car, hoping starting it would help, but the noises continued. It was such a startling noise, I couldn't imagine driving with it going. I ended up going back inside to do some research on how to help it. When I came back out half an hour later it was still going. In my research I saw many other Ford Focus 2013 owners having similar issues. I realize this is considered a cosmetic issue, which I can understand since a radio isn't necessary. But now it has escalated to a continuous noise that can be heard outside of my car and goes even when it's not on-- I feel it is a safety issue. I ended up taking out the fuse #79 after reading other people who have done similarly, and checking with my owner's manual. I'm a bit concerned about doing this since that fuse also works with the hazard lights and the door locks. But with the sound still going, I knew I had to take the fuse out or couldn't drive my car to work.

For awhile my speakers would make a weird pop noise almost as if someone was disconnecting an aux cord and then the entire radio would stop working. The only way to make it work again would be to turn the car all the way off and then back on again. As time went on it got worse. It used to randomly make a really loud static like crackling noise no matter what the volume was at and id have to turn the radio off to fix it. Even turning the car off wouldn't work anymore. Now the screen is blank and the radio doesn't work at all. I can't turn the radio off or on and I can't recieve calls through sync anymore. This all happened regardless if my car was in motion or idling

I'm at the tail end of a buyback for multiple recall issues that seem to be unfixable. They had also replaced a week engine mount that is failing now they had to replace a safety recall for gas fuel. All of which in the past downtown Ford in sacramento did for free and now they are trying to charge me $1300 to fix the recalls and repairs that they had done without my knowledge. Since it was ordered to them by you guys. And now they are saying at future Ford of sacramento off of madison avenue that they will not fix it for free and that they are going to try and take it out of my settlement when theyare scam artists and are charging me way more than any part needs to be. And I'm also being lied to by Ford wrap who told me they were going to pay for the parts and they were also going to put me in a rental. All of which was a lie. I have lost hundreds of dollars in wages I've had a ton of pain and suffering from having to be lied to over and over again and thinking I am being helped when in fact all they're doing is trying to take my money and put me in a unsafe car that could've killed me or my loved ones multiple times because of their negligence and they are not being held liable

The car tends to shudder as it accelerates, sometimes more, sometimes less. There was a recall issued about 6 months ago for the car which might be related to this (NHTSA recall number 18V735), but there is still no available remedy for the problem, which seems like a problem in itself.

The radio/speakers will suddenly make a loud popping sound/crackling sound out of nowhere. The popping/crackling is often loud enough to where it startles the driver, which is a huge safety issue. This happens randomly so the driver cannot be prepared for the loud, startling noise. Tsb issued for St model but not SE. Please help. There are hundreds if not thousands having this problem! please consider a recall. It is costing owners thousands of dollars to "diagnose" and sometimes get a fix. Thank you.

Ford dealer in melbourne, Florida refuses to perform recall work. Took the car in--it failed inspection. The manager refused to order parts or work on the vehicle and told me the mechanic was on vacation. I went back again to have the other recall items worked on, the manager said it was still a "no go, " and I'd have to wait two months to get my unsafe car looked at...

Stereor issues - loud popping, crackling, white noise, high frequency that hurts you ears. The volume control does not help. This occurs randomly and it's so loud it is dangerous. The speakers can even make noise when the vehicle is off. There are numerous problems people have been reporting about this issue as well. Occurs when vehicle is in motion, stationary and even turned off. Six weeks ago, while my car was stationary and when my care was being turned on, my car trunk stopped opening. The key (full battery) will not open it, the interior car release will not open and the trunk latch will not open it. Additionally, the warning light and beeping noise is constantly on when stationary and when driving, saying that the trunk is open. There is not way to fix. I've been told by the dealership that there is faulty wiring.

The vehicle sound system, radio, is making a loud popping noise, even when the radio is off and the radio is not working. My mother, owner of the vehicle is 79. This loud popping noise, is startling, which causes her to panic, which in my opinion is a safety factor. I've read on the internet that this is happening to many Ford models including hers. The Ford dealer states it is $105 just for them to trouble shoot. I've read also on the internet that dealers fix one component of the sound system, which works for a little while, then the issue returns, only to replace another component and on and on. My 79 year old mother does not have that kind of money, and will be sucked dry, if this happens to her. So our delima is to not do anything because of money, and take the chance on her having an accident cause of the startleing effect, which turns into panic, and possible an accident. We feel this is a safety issue. And would appreciate a resolution. Once again the popping noise comes from the radio system, the radio does not work and the sound happens when the radio is on or off. This issue has been going on for almost a month.

Initially, once vehicle is started and radio is turned on, crackling sounds are heard across entire dash of car. Radio stops working. Some days radio works, other days long stretches of crackling and then radio stops. Recently, radio does not work at all. When back door is opened, speaker in rear driver door crackles and sound is heard all the way to the front driver door and across dash to the radio. Radio has stopped working altogether. Cannot be turned off (appears to be on even though not working). Events occurred over 2 week period. No difficulty with transmission, operation or dashboard. Last event with crackling occurred as rear driver side door was opened to put items in back seat. Car not running.

Power steering going out with no warning. It was stationary at the time.I stopped for coffee on any to work. After turning it off and restarting it several times it returned to normal. When I took it in to have it checked. I was told nothing wrong. This has happened several times since the first occurance. Always stationary and or at a red light. I have taken it in and same result.it needs to be brought in when the problem acures. The steering is electric therefore the need for fluid isn't a fix or cure. When this happens it's not impossible to control but very difficult to do so. This is a can be a dangerous problem when on a hwy going 65 or 70 mph. In closing let me state that I am still waiting for the last recall to be fixed. I received a letter over 2 years ago. Received one call from akins Ford letting me know they were short on parts and they haven't come across any problems with any that were fixed and I would be called when a opening was available for my vehicle to be fixed. To date no calls from them when I called to asked about it the person or persons handling the recall doesn't reach out to me on this issue.
