Takata recall I just bought this car in 03-08-19 I notice the car wheels, transmission shakes its like it didn't want to go when you hit the gas. I thought maybe its out of liniment but something is not right. In motion in city and highway, turning. I have not taken to dealer ship I saw that they are some recall on this car. If so what next do I?

I was driving 70 miles an hour on the expressway. The car without warning stopped accelerating and reduced to 40 mph in seconds as if someone slammed on the brakes. The car would not accelerate. Additionally, this same car has the air conditioning that went out. I am told its the air compressor which is expensive. The rear camera is broken as well for no obvious reason. That went out in the first year. I took it in and was told the cause was unknown. This car is not safe.

I purchased my car new from ryan Ford in sealy tx and immediately started having transmission problems. I took my car back and they adjusted my clutch. That same day, the car made a loud noise and felt like the bottom was coming out as I was driving on the toll. I took my car back again and they kept my car for a week. They said they could not find anything wrong with it. Fast forward, I contacted Ford and they asked me to call Ford relations. I told Ford relations that it was jerking and hesitating. So I took my car to autonation Ford here in katy, tx. They replaced the battery and the clutch. I took my car back to autonation Ford and explained to the transmission gentleman that my dad and my boyfriend had driven my car and said the transmission was slipping. The service man drove in the neighborhood, nottingham, and said there was nothing wrong with it. So I then received a recall notice and I called to schedule an appointment and the lady who schedules appointments told me that my car will always have "shuttering" problems not matter how many adjustments or how many times they change my clutch. She said Ford has extended their warranty to I believe 60K miles. My first brand new car was a Ford Explorer Sport which I loved. I never had a problem. I have purchased 2 Ford Explorer, a F150, a Focus (but I did not have a transmission problem), and I leased a flex. My car has under 40K miles and I am very frustrated that the car will always have a problem. I financed $25K and I am ready to drop off my car at the dealership with the keys! I do not want to put anymore money into this car!!!!! I will never buy another Ford again. I filed a claim with Ford but they said there was nothing they could do because I waited too long. Nobody ever told me that what was really going on with the clutch. They made me feel to be a stupid lady. I will send further documentation.

My 2015 Ford Focus has had it's clutch completely replaced 2 times so far. Over the years the car has frequently jerked forward when accelerating from a braking position, often times misses gears when accelerating and is already in motion, and the entire car noticeably shudders while waiting at stop lights. The dealer told me for years that these were all normal car occurrences and I needed to accelerate harder to break in the car. Eventually, one rep relented and explained it was a faulty design with no solution and that I'd need to come back in and have the clutch replaced every 10K miles. Unfortunately, it's now that time again as all of the signs have manifested once again. Sadly, I haven't even hit 30K miles and a fourth clutch is already needed.

Car sputters, hesitates, makes clinking noises when accelerating. Entire front end including steering wheel shakes and vehicle hestitates when given gas. When stopped car randomly idles without using gas pedal, even completely loses power as if out of gas requiring car to be restarted. Engine also shifts gears late in RPM sequence. I have already paid for out of pocket the issue related to the gas cyclinder which is the open recall and these problems continue to persist. Problem has persisnted every day since date selected whihc is when I purchased vehicle.

Car has delayed quick acceleration and jerking when going from a stop. Will jerk in acceleration while driving as well. Occasionally jerking happens when pulling out from a parking lot or turning down a street when on coming traffic is coming this makes me worried because it could cause a potential accident if my car does not go when I want it to go and then goes when it shouldn't go. I have to leave a lot of time space when accelerating in certain conditions. It's been happening for 3 years but has gotten more aggressive and hasn't changed.

18S32 manufacturer recall & 18V735 NHTSA recall. This recall was first posted approximately 8.5 months ago and I still have not heard anything about bringing it in for repair. This is a huge safety concern and I have a child I Transport in it daily. I want and need this recall resolved asap as I will soon be transporting another young child. I can feel it acting funny as if something isn't moving properly or it is stalling like it isn't getting fuel when I am moving whether it's slow fast, short distance or long distance and has been happening more and more consistently for the last month or two

Focus

  • 80,000 miles
This vehicle is equipped with the 6 speed transmission that Ford as had so much trouble with, however they will not repair the problem that causes the shudder as they say it falls out of the build dates. The car only has 80,000 miles on it and should not be having transmission problems. If there is a problem that they have already recalled or put out a tsb for he dps6 automatic transmission, it should be fixed. When accelerating from a stop there is transmission shudder occasionally. It doesn't do it all the time, but a lot of the time. This is the same thing other people are fighting with just a few weeks prior build date. This seems to happen when you are taking off, sometimes when it shifts to 2nd gear. Most every time it does it you can bet you are pulling into heavy traffic and its going to cause an accident. The first time I noticed this I had just driven about 400 miles. Since then it has been noticed more.

I was driving the Ford Focus (2015) about 40 M/hr when it suddenly stalled and the transmission started to act weird. Service engine came on and I read the code as P090C. I had to control the car right away as it stalled. Read a lot about this code online and it seems to be a common reported problem with the Ford Focus, and there is high safety concerns as well as reoccurring issues even after repairs are completed.

I have a 2015 Ford Focus SE and I have maintained my vehicle. The transmission about 3 months ago has started slipping. It shows no codes but the power is decreased, it hesitates and jerks when pulling out and it sticks when shifting. I work at a tire and auto garage and have had it looked over.

I have had a faulty transmission since the day I bought the car and as a single mother, I can not afford to bring the car in for servicing every other day. This transmission is dangerous. It shutters and jolts very hard and is creating dangerous driving conditions for me and anyone else on the road. Vehicle is in motion when I am noticing the problems. I was also told that it was my fault and that the jolting and shuttering is normal....which it is not.

When putting my 2015 Ford Focus in reverse from park it went forward. I repeated this action 3 times before it finally reversed! I could have gone down into a ravine! took the Ford Focus to rivertown Ford and they had the car for 3 days but could not "duplicate" the complaint so they could not fix it under warranty. Also, the transmission jerks forward when put in motion and shakes when slowing down.
