First off, NO ONE sits in the back of my car. I do not have children and I do not own any pets.

I took my car in for a custom paint job a couple years ago and after getting it back and noticed my back door handle was bent. I accused the repair shop of breaking it, they claimed to have not broken it...

SO, here I am 2 years later, after having that one replaced out of pocket), with the other back door handle now bent. Same exact problem!!! (I have called the old repair shop to apologize for accusing them of breaking what I did not know were some very cheaply made door handles).

Ford's idea of placing silver foil over cheap azz plastic door handles was absolutely terrible!!!! These handle easily cost between $40 and $60 let alone the cost of labor. The silver foil overlay only highlights the problem -_-

When I purchased this vehicle used from a Ford dealer I thought I was buying a great product. I did'nt have the vehicle for more than 6 months when the rear passenger handle broke. Since I had been transporting my grandson around in his car seat I assumed it was accidental damage, but when the drivers door handle suffered the same fate after one year of use I suspected this might be a cheaply made product. After reading other owners comments I can't understand why Ford has not issued some kind of recall.

I plan on getting rid of this this cheaply made vehicle A.S.A.P.

Both rear interior door handles are bent, stick out and don't work. They simply broke without any excessive force. I contacted FORD of Canada and they indicated, surprise surprise that no one else has reported this as a problem, therefore it was my problem. They used cheap plastic parts with a chrome finish and it's me. Pretty fundamental that the door handles should work throughout the life of the vechicle except at FORD. They're living up to their old name (Fix Or Repair Daily)..Same old company just new friendlier ads...

This is the 2nd time this has happened. First replaced handle in June 2009, now about to have to replace handle again. Kinda hacked that it isn't covered under extended warranty, or that it would be repaired at a better price. Also hacked at having to do it again in under a year

The driver's side rear door interior handle is slightly bent and sometimes won't open. This also happened with the driver's side door and is starting with the passenger side door also. This door will not lock either because of this problem. Sometimes the handle just sticks straight out after trying to use it instead of popping back into place.

Two other doors on this stupid car have done this and no longer work from the inside. Now the passenger side interior door handle is slightly bent and doesn't pop back into place in the door after using it. We pull on the handle to open the door and it doesn't pop back into the door like it should when we let go. So far we can still open this door from the inside, but we already have two other doors that we can't open from the inside and this is how they started. All three handles that are not right have slight bends in them and are obviously made of some cheap material. We are more than ready to get rid of this piece of crap car cause we're tired of having to roll down the windows to even get out of the damn thing.
