Back on 2/24/2019 I was behind a vehicle that had to slam in their brakes. I immediately slammed on my brakes and the peadle went to the floor. I took my car to planet Ford and was told that my right front brake hose had a weak spot in the line and busted. The only explanation was due to age" at the time the car was 4 years old and only 61,000 miles! the caused me to have a wreck and costing I've $3,500" this happened in spring, tx.

Driving down ctty street when the car breaks, when applied, would not depress and car would not stop adequately. Break pedal very firm to touch.. it would take every ounce of strength applied just to get the car to stop and in most cases, further down road or into intersection than expected.

While the car was sitting in the driveway I noticed the brake lights were on. Upon inspection, the silcone rubber pad that cushions the brake pedal from the brake light switch had become brittle and broke apart. The brake light switch now does not depress far enough to actuate the brake lights and they are stuck in the on position.

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. While the vehicle was making a U turn, the brake pedal was depressed to the floorboard and failed to stop the vehicle. The contact drove to a nearby parking lot and noticed that the brake fluid low warning message was illuminated. The vehicle was not able to be driven and was towed to an independent mechanic. The mechanic diagnosed that the brake lines needed to be replaced. The contact called world Ford pensacola (located at 6397 pensacola blvd, pensacola, fl 32505, (850) 476-9050) to notify them of the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 69,375. Consumer stated I actually have the part that was replaced. The mechanic asked if I had an enemies because it appeared cut. I think it was a split due to a bad break line.

Operating under normal driving conditions vehicle brake paddle dropped to the floor when stopping at an intersection and vehicle took longer then expected to stop. Stopping at an intersection vehicle rolled into intersection. I was able to lay on the horn to alert other drivers and put on hazard lights. After roll at a stop I backed up slowly out of intersection and heard brakes cranking as paddle was depressed. After pulling over safely discovered ruptured brake line to forward left hand wheel and brake fluid sprayed on in side of wheel well. After towed to the dealership the service manger claimed he has seen multiple Fusion, foucs and escapes with simular issues and says this is normal wear. I told him I want the removed parts and will hold them if needed for further investigation.

Under normal driving conditions on a Sunday evening I began to notice a decrease in brake pressure and feel. At a traffic light I then noticed the brake pedal would begin to depress toward the floor without an increase in force to depress the pedal. The vehicle later that evening reported low brake fluid. I returned the vehicle home to the garage with the intent of servicing the vehicle Monday. On Monday I drove out of the garage and noticed a puddle of brake fluid on the floor at the right front wheel position. I returned the vehicle to the garage and performed a visual inspection and identified the problem of a split in the rubber brake line.

I had to replace the front passenger brake line in 2017 due to a leak. Less than a year later, July 2018, the same thing happened and I had to replace the front driver's side front brake line due to a leak. I realized there was an issue when I was driving & the brake pedal went to the floor. Only after about 15 minutes did the low brake fluid light come on after each occurrence. I had my car at the dealer last week for a recall repair and overhear another customer with a 2015 Fusion say she had a brake line leak.

Car looks to be in park, but it will not start and continues to roll back. Car is actually in reserve- dealership says it can be at least 1.5 weeks before it can be fixed.

My car was part of the recall for the bushing cable but was told by the dealership who was told by the specialty group at Ford that it was not an actual recall so I will have to pay for the repairs upfront until it became a legitimate recall and the parts were available. I even had my car towed to the dealership under the impression that the cost would be covered by Ford since it has something to do with the recall but now after speaking to the dealership that is not a guarantee nor is the rental car that I am having to use since my car is down due to the recall. I filed a previous complaint regarding the shifter cable bushing going out but this complaint is in regards to Ford not having the bushing or the shifter cable to fix my car even though I was told that it would be fixed in a couple of days, I would pay for the repairs then they would reimburse me once it became an actual recall. I am not refusing the repairs but can not wait a month for the parts to come in nor can I afford a bill for over $500 that was part of a recall that Ford issued but is now saying is not an actual recall. What am I supposed to do? I am going to go get my car and have a more reliable figure fix my car and proceed from there. Also now I am out a tow bill and $35 for 3 days on a rental since Ford did not do what they said they would do stated on their declaimer that dealers will replace the shifter cable bushing at no cost to the customer except this customer. This was on their Ford media website.

Vehicle was in motion after exiting the freeway from a 45 minute drive at 70 mph. Brakes needed more pressure than normal to slow and stop the car. Once vehicle came to a stop and without applying any additional pressure to the brake pedal the pedal became spongey and moved completely to the floor. I shifted the vehicle to park and tried the brakes again, this time it felt ok. I continued driving and the pedal continued to do this over and over again. I pulled into a auto parts store and checked the brake fluid, the reservoir was not showing any fluid. I proceeded into the store purchased additional brake fluid and topped off the brake fluid. Upon getting back in the vehicle I tried the brakes several times and could not get a firm pedal. I got back out of the car and inspected each of the wheel areas. Upon reaching the right front I found brake fluid running out from underneath the vehicle. After closer inspection the flex line to the caliper had failed and was spraying brake fluid when the brake pedal was pressed and sucking air into the system when the brake pedal was released. This entire time the car never reported having anything wrong with the brakes. There should have been a warning light that the brake fluid was low. Additionally, this car only has 47,000 miles on it, this line should not have failed this soon.

Soft and low brake pedal. So I have A2015 Ford Fusion SE I recently changed my pads and rotor on. While on, the lift my battery died. After putting it back together ansld boosting my car I then had a soft brake and the pedal would not engage until extremely far down, I have shop has bled the system numerous times changed the master cylinder and still nothing. I was told it could, be a caliper doing, this and ialso, seen online it could be the ABS mod. Everything I have read is leading to the ABS module but nothing can be proved so I'm left to dump money in parts and hope it gets fixed. Fixing tgungs that are not broke is insane in my eyes......

While going in reverse down an incline all the dash lights turn on and steering locks up. This also happens when turning and braking at the same time. On the city streets is when it was first notice. After having the dealer computer read out and my repair shop read out both said the same thing. This repair had to be made. Right front passenger side wheel ABS sensor and harness and had to remove and replace the wheel speed ABS sensor and harness. I have uploaded all repair/bill and diagnostics on this 2015 car. No recalls for this problem have been reported to the maker as of yet and I have called the maker of this car's customer service dept and also on line to the facebook website and have filed a report. 03/2015 lost control of the breaks and had to use the parking breaks to attempt to stop me and U still hit another car. 07/09/2015 lost all control of breaks, instrument panel display turned white and the mft turned black, motor shut off. The dealer can't find the problem, they just do a computer reset and it temporarily fixes the problem but they reject me to put my child in this car!

Rented car from enterprise car rental (734)451-2499. Car lost power on two occasions while driving. First time around 9:00 am going East on 401 in Canada, second time around 8:00 pm going West on 402 in Canada. Lost power steering, engine power, power brakes and headlights. Was able to safely pull over and had to place car in park and restarted car with ignition key. Rental car company provides two car keys with a braided chain to keep the two keys together and to discourage customer from separating the keys (need wire cutters to separate). The Ford keys are very heavy and have integrated keyfob. To prevent the keys from hitting my knees, I used a tywrap to pull them closer together.
