Walked out to my car to notice my driver door was not closed, even though my alarm was set and all doors were locked. Found out the driver door would not latch (recall 20S15) but this particular VIN was supposedly not affected. The service was just completed for $240 at the dealer to replace the latch. This should be included in NHTSA # 20V177000/ Ford recall 20S15

The car shut off randomly and the check engine light came on. I started the car again and it starts. When I fill up, it starts, but it hesitates to turn off again, and sometimes doesn't come back on. It's something to do with the air in the tank due to it being capless. When it comes to the body, the door alert came on 6/12/2020 stating that the foot was open randomly. I was driving to a nearby store going about 20 mph with the doors locked and fully shut.

The vehicle was stationary but while getting in the vehicle it was noticed that the front passenger door would not close. Dash was reading that door was open, several attempts were made to close the door but no luck. Had to tie it from the inside to keep it from opening while driving.

Was stopped and parked in a parking lot. When I exited the driver side and closed the door. When I did that the door bounced back. I tried again and it didn't close completely.the door latch is in the unlocked position. It doesn't stay closed, if I was driving and this had happened I or someone else could of been seriously hurt.

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving at 15 mph, passenger's side rear door opened without warning. The contact tied the door to keep it latched securely. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the door latch was defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 86,000.

I am fortunate to have been stationary(the vehicle) at the time of the casualty to my 2016 Ford Fusion. I was stopped at a store and after I placed my things in the backseat, I went to close my rear driver side door and it would not close. This happened January 14th, 2020. I will mention that my 2016 Ford Fusion was purchased in September 2016 with only 17 miles on it, brand new at an overseas military vehicle dealership. My vehicle currently only has 18,000 miles on it. As I have no rope or ties in my vehicle, I was left with twisting my arm behind the driver seat and driving home(instead of my destination) with my arm painfully twisted around as to keep the door closed on the road to not hit another vehicle when I braked or turned. I would surmise this as a not positive experience in the pouring rain. Ford has formally told me via their customer care line that my vehicle is not covered under any safety recalls. Ford has stated my $2000 fordextracare 7 year/75,000 mile extended warranty additionally will not cover this casualty. I've found evidence online that Ford issued recalls for 2013-2015 Ford Fusion for this exact problem. I am concerned as to why my safety concern and very real casualty to my vehicle was valid on this model of car a year prior to mine, but somehow is not now. Can a Ford vehicle with only 18K miles on it at 3 years old be reasonably expected to have the doors break in the open position? I'm being told that it is not a defect of the vehicle and I am to foot the bill for this casualty to the vehicle.

My Ford Fusion 2016 is having a bad issue and it is a dangerous one. So I was driving around with my grandmother and siblings, we had stopped by the supermarket to get some food. And when I finished parking my vehicle both driver and passenger door has opened except for the two rear doors my siblings couldnt get out the car if the handle is pulled outside of the rear door. Its a very dangerous thing because imagine if in a car crash and someone is sitting in the rear sit how are they going to open the door!?. this need a fix.

Drove to work one day in July 2019. Got to work went to close driver door and it would not close. Dove it home with a bungee cord holding the door closed. Took it to dealership later that day and they replaced a latch at no cost to us because it was under extended warranty. Now on August 24th 2019, my mom and daughter and I were shopping and we got to a store, my daughter got out of the rear passenger door and it wouldn't close just like the prior time. This time I am out of warranty so I have to pay approximately $500 to get it fixed and get a rental car so I can get back and forth to work. Both times the vehicle was stopped in park but who knows what would have happened if we were in motion. We did nothing to the doors except open and close them which is what their purpose is! this is ridiculous and seems to be the same issue they have had on this same model from 2013-2015 from what I have read. Please help get this issue taken care of. It is not safe and very expensive to fix.

Car started throwing me forward when U accelerated had a small fender bender.. it would have a hard kick as if someone hit me from behind. Then it stop working wouldn't go into drive after it was in park it went in reverse almost hit someone behind me.. then Ford roadside never showed up. Ford lost my car no one could find it... tow company never took it to the dealer and when I got there for my rental the upervisor laughed and dismissed my concerns even after I was in tears from the trama if the day and night prior. I was promised a rental so I could go to work and was denied it bc the car hadn't arrived. Meanwhile roadside assistance couldn't find where my car was. Online it said it was picked up and taken to dealer.. I was so frustrated and disappointed with the chaos. No one was helping to resolve the issue and I was late to work and my child's car seat was in the lost car. I was in tears and panic because of the stress of it all. I had to ask the GM at jim tidwell to help with a rental and was being charged 380$ for 1 day rental. I was still under warranty since car is new. I am so disappointed in the insensitive and dismissive behavior by all the men who I spoke to. It's been 3 weeks and I know nothing besides car finally arrive after being impounded in South atlanta. I do not feel safe in the car nor do U want to continue as a customer with Ford.

I ran into a bird on the road. It caused the grill and pieces to break next to the radiator to break. It is going to cost a fortune. If I had my old car no damage would have happened. Ford built them so cheap it caused a bunch of damage. The service department even said it was not solid. It is defective. Ford should be responsible for building the car defectively that it would be totaled by a bird.

Was following a Ford Fusion in stop and go traffic last night on a rainy freeway. The led brake lights are so bright that with them on I lost my depth perception to the rear of the car. They are so bright they are almost blinding. Maybe there should be a brightness limit?
