Summary
Some 2017 Escape/Fusion vehicles equipped with a 2.5L engine and built on or before 2-Feb-2017 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0300 and/or P0316 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) memory. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
