The contact owns a 2022 Ford Maverick. The contact stated that the dealer had informed him of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V594000 (Air Bags) during the sale of the vehicle. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that he purchased the vehicle from the dealer; however, the dealer was prohibited from delivering the vehicle until the recall was remedied and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

My wife was t-boned in the passenger door. No airbags deployed nor did the seat belts lock up. I got a notification saying "the restraints control module has indicated the occupant classification system is present but not configured." The side curtain airbags did not deploy causing my wife and my 9 year old son to hit their heads on their windows.
