Some 2022 Maverick vehicles built on or before 18-Mar-2022 equipped with a trailer brake controller and a 8 inch center display screen may exhibit a trailer brake module fault message, trailer lighting module fault message, and/or trailer right turn lamps fault/trailer left turn lamps fault message, diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) B1D08 and/or B1D09 stored in the integrated trailer module (TRM) and/or U0137 stored in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) or body control module (BCM). This may be due to the software in the TRM. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the TRM.
