The manufacturer installed a Firestone Wilderness AT size P225/70R15 spare tire on the vehicle, however the certification label specifies tire size P215/75R15 only. The consumer is requesting reimbursement for the five recall (00T-005) Firestone tires that have been replaced.

I was driving on the freeway when I heard a loud "boom" on the rear of my truck. I had not hit anything. I pulled off the freeway and discovered my tire had blown out. Upon inspecting the tire, I noticed a 1 inch rupture in the center of tire between the treads. I'm lucky this rupture was not bigger. I have under 7000 miles on these tires and quite frankly I'm afraid to drive on them. I think the recall should be expanded to include these tires as well.
