Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Ford Ranger. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V384000 (air bags); however, the part needed to remedy the vehicle was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer (crouse Ford, 11 antrim blvd, taneytown, md 21787, (410) 756-6655) was contacted and confirmed that the part was not available. The manufacturer was not contacted. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Takata recall received a recall notice on our pickup in March of 2017. Called western slope auto about the recall three to four times and they said they could not do anything about the recall as it was not their (basically) problem and to call corporate. They refused to give us a number for their corporate office. We are now waiting to find out what happens next....perhaps an accident. We do not want to wait for an accident and the airbag not deploy so we don't drive our vehicle very much. We need the use of this vehicle. We are pretty upset with western slope auto in grand junction, co.

Takata recall. I was informed of the takata airbag recall, over a year ago and was told I would be contacted by Ford to have the repair done. I never heard from Ford until recently when I received a letter saying that I shouldn't drive my truck with a passenger. This recall is taking for too long. This is a "passenger" truck. This is an obvious problem. This form is also a problem. I'm complaining about an active recall, and it wants documentation, and dates? these are provided in the recall itself. I just want the recall associated with my truck repaired in a timely manner.

Takata recall - this recall is very disturbing. This truck is my husband's only mode of transportation. His daily driver and he picks up our 3yrs old from daycare every afternoon.
