Some 2024 Ranger vehicles equipped with an instrument panel cluster (IPC) with a 12-inch display may have difficulty resetting the trip computer. This may be due to the IPC software. Replacement or reprogramming of the IPC will not resolve this concern. Inform customers that they can reset the trip settings by performing the following steps: Navigate to the trip computer screen. Quickly press and release the OK button to bring the Hold OK To Reset message back onto the IPC screen. While the message is displayed, quickly press and hold the OK button for 4 seconds. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition expected in Q2 2024. Schedule a service visit for customers to return in Q2 2024 when a fix is available.
