While traveling engine overheated. Vehicle was serviced, and technician stated engine fan needed to be replaced.

The vehicle in the complaint was a recalled vehicle. However, when it was taken to local dealer for repair of the system we were told that there was no problem. Therefore, the affected part was not replaced. Now we own a vehicle with a cracked engine head that is going to coast a bundle to repair. After contacting the company we were told that the warranty was void. Therefore, Ford wasn't going to do anything. A defect is a defect which should be the responsibility of Ford. Recall 97V-019, cooling fan.
