Driver was backing out of parking space and the right side collapsed to the ground, and the tire blew out. Vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that right side coil spring and tire needed to be replaced.

Consumer complained about a rear coil spring problem. While backing out of the driveway rear coil spring broke, causing the spring to puncture the left rear tire. Owner contacted the manufacturer, and was told that repair for the rear spring will be at the owner's expense. They repaired spring and struts. Bill was $760 and thye billed the consumer for $100. They do not have protective shields for rear springs. It is still an unsafe car to drive.

The consumer is experiencing a problem with the rear coil springs. The rear coil springs snapped going into the rear tire. The consumer had the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the front coil springs are being recalled but not the rear. Provide further details.......consumer stated right rear coil spring broke/removed and replaced.

The consumer noticed that the left side of the vehicle was lower than the right side. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection. The cause has not been determined at this time. It was determined that the passenger side rear coil spring broke.

This resulted in the rear right side coil spring collapsing and lying against the tire.
