Some 2018-2019 Transit vehicles equipped with a 3.2L engine may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTC P054E. If DTC P054E is set with any other DTCs, diagnose and repair those DTCs first. If DTC P054E is the only DTC, do not attempt to repair or replace any components, Engineering is investigating. To assist with the investigation, while IDS is open, access Powertrain > OBD Test Modes > Mode 9. Once open, log the data, exit, and save and hold the session. Next, open the Previous Sessions menu, highlight the respective session, and press the session upload icon (three computers) to transmit the file. In addition, use the Report a Vehicle Concern link at the bottom of the OASIS report and fill out the form. Continue to monitor OASIS for updates.
