I bought this vehicle for my grandchild, and I am still limiting the use with her in it and trying to use other vehicles to protect her. I cannot afford to pay my loan for the car that I-??m not supposed to drive and buy another safe vehicle. Gmc has let this go for months. It is now November they refuse to offer a loaner or any kind of discount on a new vehicle, my vehicle has lost trade in value and is basically a pile of junk in my driveway. I want this issue remedied immediately. I have contacted numerous employees and service places and nobody can repair the air bag. I want my vehicle replaced!

The reason for recall is, a driver-??s-side front airbag inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death. It has been 5 months and the manufacturer has no current plan in place to replace the driver-??s airbag module. After speaking with a GMC Customer Assistance Center representative today, 11/17/2023, I was told that there is no estimated time when the repair will be available. Based on the possibility of death, five months and no plan for when a repair/replacement will be available feels negligent and as though the repairs are not being completed in a reasonable time.
