Sierra 1500 4WD

On 4/10/2014 I factory ordered an 2014 GMC 1500 crew cab 4X4 short bed with a max trailer towing package. This towing package had a maximum trailering weight of 11,800# and a gcwr of 17,500#. I took receipt of the vehicle on 5/29/14. On 6/4/14 GM released document id: 3931537 stating that the gcvwr in the owners manual is incorrect. The max trailer weight is now being stated as 11,200# and a gcwr of 16,700# after the release of this document. This 800# gcvwr reduction is an issue as the vehicle was originally purchased and sized with the original towing capacities and gcwr. At this time, GM does not manufacturer any 1/2 ton trucks that will accommodate the original towing capacities that I factory ordered and purchased my vehicle at. I have been working with the dealership on this issue since August 22,2014 and there has been no resolution to this point; therefore, I am filing this complaint.
