Summary

This Preliminary information communicates an issue with the rear tail / parking lights staying on and do not time out after exiting the vehicle and passive locking the vehicle.  This condition can lead to a dead battery.  GM Engineering has released a fix and dealers are to reprogram the BCM per Customer Satisfaction Program N212344990.
