Summary
GENERAL MOTORS HAS DECIDED THAT CERTAIN 1995 S TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH 2.2L (IN2) 4 CYLINDER ENGINES MAY HAVE PUSHROD THAT MAY BE IN HARD CONTACT WITH THE ANTI- ROTATION BRACKET SECURING THE ROLLER LIFTERS. IF THE PUSHROD IS IN HARD CONTACT, WITH THE LIFTER ANTI-ROTATION BRACKET, IT MAY NOT BE PROPERLY SEATED IN THE LIFTER WHICH MAY REDUCE PROPER OIL FLOW TO THE ROCHER ARMS AND AFFECT DURABILITY. TO CORRECT THIS CONDITION, DEALERS ARE TO INSPECT THE ENGINES FOR PROPER OIL FLOW TO THE ROCKER ARMS AND IF FOUND RESTRICTED, REPLACE BOTH ANTI-ROTATION BRACKETS AND THE #1 AND #3 EXHAUST PUSHRODS AND ROCKER ARMS.
