This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that after start up the radio resets if the customer’s phone is paired to the infotainment system. Technician will need to check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes and perform published Service Information diagnosis as needed. When there are no Diagnostic Trouble Codes present technician should not attempt any repairs. Dealer should communicate to the customer that we apologize for this inconvenience and that General Motors is working on a solution for this concern.
