This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a pop or scrape noise when the lift gate or lift glass is opened. Technician will need to inspect to see if the truck was built with shims between the left hinge and the spoiler. Technician will need to remove the shims if they are present. If removing the shims does not correct the concern, the spoiler will need to be replaced.
