Have information that the air bag and side air bag may not be working properly on the passenger side and the shoulder strap on the same side doesn't release as it should. Thanks

I have a 2005 Honda Accord ex nav that has problems with the SRS airbag light staying on. I've contact Honda about why my car was not in the recall like the other Accord in the same year model. They claim there isn't a problem. A SRS airbag light that stays on is clearly a problem that seems to be consistent with the airbag recall of the other vehicles. I ask them to pay for the repair but they refused.

The contact owns a 2005 Honda Accord. The contact stated that water entered into the driver side of the vehicle near the curtain air bags. The dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure, but provided no remedy. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign numbers: 15V320000 (air bags), 04V551000 (air bags), and 16V178000 (air bags). The approximate failure mileage was 95,000.

My airbag indicator warning light came on at about 195K miles. I called the dealership asking if they had a recall open and said they did not. They thought maybe it was a sensor. Now that I see the reason for the latest recall, covering 2001-2003 whose takata airbags we declared at risk, particularly in high humidity states. I can't help but to think that with all the recalls before and after my model year, coupled with my airbag light, that I am driving around with a high risk of my airbag deploying.

Takata recall upon completion of the takata airbag recall the vehicle is continually having problems with the airbag light being displayed on the instrument panel. The passenger and driver side is affected. The passenger side airbag off indicator no longer illuminates when the seat is not occupied as well. Prior to the recall there were no problems with the airbag lights for driver or passenger. The above issue is noted when the vehicle is in motion and stationary with the engine on.

"takata recall" we have 2 Honda that had the airbags replaced as part of the recall. Shortly after the airbag was replaced the SRS light came on the dashboard of both vehicles. Rt. 23 Honda, pompton plains, NJ did the replacement. They want $300 for each vehicle to fix the problem that they say is not related to the airbag replacement. It seems unlikely that both of our cars would have the same problem after the airbag replacement. I have filed second report since 2 VIN numbers are involved. I also filed a report with Honda. We last spoke to rt. 23 Honda about this on 4/21/2016.

I was involved in a car accident. I was driving a Honda Accord 2005 and was rear ended by a BMW X5. There seemed to be minor damage to my rear bumper with no collision from the front. The next day, I started my car turn on the ac and let the car cool down. I stepped out of the car and in a few minutes the driver airbag deployed. I took the car to Honda motor so they could find out what is wrong witht the car, but Honda wants 115 dollars to make a dianostic which I think is ridiculous. Please advice, I'm driving a car without airbags that Honda refuses to even look at unless I pay 115 dollars.

Was in an accident where I needed to quickly steer out of a severe crash snd was not able to becausethe steering got stuck. Noticed problems off and on but took it to the dealership and the assured us there was no problen with car. We were not notified until after the accident that there was a recall on the this certain vehicle steering and air bags. At the time of the accident went crash occured the airbags also failed to work the came out flat.

After taking my 05 Accord in for the driver and passenger airbag recall and having them replaced, the employee at the Honda service center told me that my SRS light is on and it is probably because of the sensor for the harness. This light has been coming on and off for well over a year, and recently has just stayed on at all times. He told me it would cost $130 just to diagnose this problem, and then the cost of fixing it, if this is indeed what is causing the light to stay on. My VIN is not part of the Honda recall for this specific issue, I believe Honda somehow did not take into account all of the vins that are effected by this recall. I talked to Honda and they are unwilling to help at all. I am currently pregnant and a petite woman, the highest risk factor for this issue if the airbags fail to deploy. Very disappointed in Honda. Will be contacting my attorney after diagnosis is made, assuming diagnosis is specifically the same as the recall.

Takata recall- I cannot get any answers from Honda at 1-888-234-2138 regarding why my Honda takata has not been recalled. They put me on hold and never pick up again. It's a total run around. I do not feel safe driving this car anymore or letting anyone drive it knowing metal projectiles may blind me or pierce my neck.why is there not a total recall of takata airbags in Honda's?

The contact sustained neck and back injuries and the driver sustained severe headaches that did not require medical attention. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 105,000.

Airbag SRS light stays on all the time. Some 2005 Honda Accord were covered in the Honda recall Q31, but my VIN was not included. My problem is exactly the same as the Q31 recall, but Honda America refuses to pay for the repair. Since this is a safety item, it should be reported as to the NHTSA.

I recently received an airbag notice to have the passenger air bag replace at the dealer. I promptly delivered my vehicle to the dealer Texas Honda of austin, tx. After the air bag was replaced and they updated the computer, I am now getting an SRS warning light which is intermitting. And according to my manual take it to your dealer. When I reported it to the dealer they advised that the two had no relevance. That I would have to pay for the repairs and that the parts were not available. According to Honda's site the seat wiring harness should have been replaced to avoid this.
