I have a 2013 Honda Accord and I have been the only owner. I recently had to replace the starter! it's rediculous to have to do that on a 2013. I would press the start button and it would just click. After several attempts, it would finally start.

@31000 mles, trunk lid no longer responds to key fob. Opening trunk requires inside lever action. Estimated cost to repair seems out of reason for a part that failed while car was in garage.

Start button issue on 2013 Honda Accord. Periodically, the start button does not start the car. It sounds like static. The car eventually will start after multiple attempts. I noted many complaints of such a similar problem on cargurus.com web blog. My car only has 42,000 miles. The dealer said it was the starter and it has been replaced at a cost of $1,018.61.

In the few years I've had my car, which I take very good care of and have low mileage on, the power steering stopped working suddenly while I was driving (very scary and dangerous!), the driver's side sun visor broke one day when I was trying to put it back up, and the dashboard sensors go off unnecessarily. Very disappointing from a Honda vehicle. Beware!

My 2013 Honda Accord ex started experiencing problems with intermittent starting around 45,000 miles. The dealership is aware of the starter problem, but charged me over $800 to repair it with a new starter button. I was told without repair this problem would get worse till the car would not start at all.

My starter is being replaced for intermittent starting issues. My mechanic very experienced and I have been using for years made the diagnosis. I was present for the diagnostic test. My car is a 2013 Honda Accord with less then 44000 miles. I have owned 3 Honda's all still in the family. I had a 2002 with the original starter, which my daughter now owns and I have a 2010 with almost 100,000 with the original starter. Something is wrong when you have to change a starter on a 4 yr old car with low mileage. I have also had to change the battery in the 2013 last January with less then 40,000 miles on it. I changes the battery myself.

The car will not start intermittently. Sometimes it can take 10-30 minutes to try and start it with the key. You will turn the key and it clicks but nothing engages. We had a new key made thinking it may be the chip in the key causing it not to start. That was not the case. Took it in to the Honda dealership today after my daughter being stranded yesterday because it wouldn't crank. Service tech says its the starter. Obviously these 2013 Honda have an issue, it's all over google and youtube with many people having the same issue and all low mileage.
