Car will not start even with the key fob inside the car. Key fob has new battery, car battery is fine as well. Bringing the fob close to the start button occasionally starts the car. Similar issue was recalled in earlier models, no recall has been issued for later vins

I am getting error readings on my 2013 Honda Accord exl, V6 that the fcw has failed which is causing other error lights (tire pressure, traction, etc). I have only 65,000 miles on this car. Should this failure occur at this small mileage" should this not be a recall issue"

When I first purchased my 2013 Honda Accord from the dealership I noticed sometimes the push start would stall or sound like it was failing. Also my driver side door would not respond to my key fob. All other doors respond to it except the driver door. I have replaced the battery and still the issue hasn't been resolved. I have been taking the actual key out of the fob and inserting it into the car door to unlock my driver side door. Now the ac has began to stop and start. It almost sounds like the fan motor is kicking on and off. And my driver side seat is not sliding back properly. It will began to glide then stop. Then I have to keep pressing and it'll glide back a little and then stop again. Overall I think there is some sort of electrical shortage or something is happening with it. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration there was an electrical system recall sent out June 29, 2017. As stated on their website this could result in an electrical short increases the risk of a fire. The NHTSA campaign id is 17V418000 !

I was driving on a highway at 50mph and suddenly felt my car slightly jerk and make a popping noise. I did not see any obstructions prior to this, even though it felt like I had run over a tree branch. I pulled over as soon as possible and everything on my car seemed fine until I saw my sunroof was shattered. The middle part had completely broken off while the rest of the glass was shattered. It looked like something had fallen out of the sky and hit it, although it did not feel like anything had bounced off my car while driving. The sunroof door had been closed and I rarely open it (the last time I used it was at least 6 months ago).

The car has intermittent starting issues. I have had the battery and alternator changed and checked and there appear to be no issues there. Online forums suggest that this is a endemic starter issue with Honda Accord. Sometimes the car will start with ease. Other times it will not start at all. When it does not start I have to jump it, but when I take it to the auto shop afterwards they tell me that there are no apparent issues with the battery or alternator.

A few days after the recall work was completed the car would not start when I pressed the start button. It went into accessory mode instead of starting. Every day since then it has intermittently started after several attempts. It sometimes requires four, five or more attempts to start the engine. We replaced the battery on May 4, 2019. The intermittent starts continue. I found several internet sites that list other 2013 Honda Accord owners experiencing the same problem with no positive solutions.

Push button start is not responding on a regular basis. When button is pushed, the battery is activated and all lights and radio are operational, however the car does not start. Battery has been tested and all connections seem to be working properly. V6 models of this car have had a service bulletin 16-002 issued for starter, however my car is a four cylinder and therefore not eligible to be looked at under service bulletin.. issue can happen after several starts during the day, after sitting in cold or garage. It does not seem to make a difference whether the car has been running or not. Car has 102,000 miles on it, and is in good condition. There are many complaints online regarding this same situation with my model, seems as though it is the exact same issue as with the V6. This is an ongoing and random issue. I have never been unable to start the car after several tries, but not sure if this luck will end soon.
