Wheel bearing failure, pre-mature - the car made a loud low hum between 35-60 mph. Reading forum's on line, road noise from the Michelin tires was described which I assumed the noise to be. The noise seemed to get louder over time so I had the dealer check it out. Both the left and right rear wheel bearings had gone bad on a 3 plus year old car (just out of warranty) with 26,000 miles. Both wheel bearings were replaced and it solved the problem.

Oil life at 40%. car was making noise. While driving and pressed on brakes...oil pressure light would turn on and off. Checked oil on car. No drop of oil in the engine. Excessive oil consumption. No leaks.. carbon found on cylinders, inside engine and on pinston rings. This is not normal especially when consistent oil changes, fuel injection was cleaned, and cvt transmission is also replaced consistently. I just bought the car 6months ago. Engine is currently dismantled and warranty does not cover! completely upsetting!

My 2014 Accord ex sedan is on recall notice and I am having a final repair on the battery management senor next week. For several weeks I am experiencing an electrical problem intermittently trying to start my car. When I push the start button with my foot on the brake pedal sometimes the care does not start. I have had the car since Nov. 2013 and have only had this problem for the past few weeks. All symbols on the instrument panel light up and quickly go off and I get a notice on the instrument panel "power is on": when I push the button again 1-3 times, the car starts. I have not experienced problems with stalling or cutting off while in motion. My battery is only 2 yr. Old. And it was just checked last month and the charge was ok. Clearly there is a short affecting ignition of the ignition of the engine. The problem I have described has so far only occurred when the car is stationary. I only have 42,000 miles on the car and so this should not be happening and is quite disturbing; it can become a major safety problem. I know that NHTSA has issued Honda electrical system campaigns F/ recall notices for other Honda vehicles with the same problem, but yet for my 2014 sedan. It needs to be included. From reviewing the NHTSA complaint database it is clear this is a known problem by NHTSA and Honda and needs to be dealt with. I am requesting that this complaint be expeditiously investigated and the problem for my car and is recognized as a systemic problem for multiple Honda products for many years and Honda figure out a permanent solution. I am requesting that Honda covers the cost of parts/labor to fix even though I am past the regular warranty period (except I am still within the power train warranty ) this week (November 13 to 11/17) problem occurred 4 times.

The contact owns a 2014 Honda Accord. While driving at an unknown speed, the contact heard an abnormal squeaking noise coming from the vehicle. When turning the steering wheel, there was an abnormal chiming noise. The contact also noticed bubbles on the windshield, which eventually cracked, and the exterior paint was bubbling. Additionally, the suspension and engine made abnormal cracking and hissing noises. The vehicle was taken to rick case Honda (157000 rick case Honda way, davie, fl 33331) where it was diagnosed that the squeaking noise was due to the transmission needing to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. All the other issues had not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the transmission issue and provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 60,000.

Body: The tension bar does not open the car trunk lid all the way which more often drops down and hit the person's head or face who is putting stuffs in the trunk assuming it is fully open all the way. I did got hit twice by the corner and edge of the trunk lid on the forehead and left temple. The latter caused bruise and pain that took me a week to recover. Should change weak tension bar to strong gas tube operation. Engine: The car vibrates and rattles upon putting on reverse gear even after at least a minute warmup in the morning. The dealer said it is normal for this type of car? this is very embarrassing for a newer car. I never see this in a Toyota cars that I owned: Sienna, avalon... seats: Driver seat is not well designed and causing awkward and uncomfortable and fatigue position while driving. There is insufficiency of support for lumbar are ( the current one is too soft and sitting back so there is virtually no support at all). Again Toyota cars seem not having this kind of problem. Also, the driver window is not tall enough that even a 5'6" person can bang his head to the top of the window when getting up and out of the drive seat. It should be 2" taller to avoid this problem. They should put cushion to the top edge and safety grip handle at the minimum. Driving condition: The car seems to wander when running on freeway at normal speed.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but a failure code could not be located. A few weeks later, while the vehicle was parked, it rolled out of park and crashed into a parked vehicle. A police report was filed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 34,065.

(1/12/2016) while trying to merge onto the highway the car jolted and the engine revved up and the transmission disengaged causing the car to stall. The car behind me came barreling up on my bumper nearly crashing into me. This is a very dangerous issue. Had my children been in the car, and the driver behind me not been so alert (praise the lord), this could have had devastating consequences. After that instance the transmission kept slipping and the engine would rev up again and again, the transmission would not engage, and the car would jolt forward and back. This car only has 112,000 miles on it. All our maintenance and repairs have been per schedule and performed at the Honda dealership so there is no excuse for this transmission to fail this early. I checked the transmission fluid to see if that may have contributed to the issue, however it was full and clean (thanks to regular maintenance). In researching this further I found several complaints about this model experiencing the same issue. It turns out that there has been a recall of over 1 million vehicles on this very problem back in 2004 (ntsa reference #04V176000, April 15, 2004). There has also been a class action lawsuit covering several Honda models related to this issue. This failure is unacceptable given Honda's reputation for quality and dependability. Not to mention the fact that I have 4 children, and had this been under different circumstances could have had catastrophic results. Please Honda; do the right thing and fix this issue.

My 2014 Honda Accord coupe has 33,900+ miles and for the past year, I have had it in to fox Honda in grand rapids four times for the same problem. The problem is, that it stutters often when accelerating and twice, the engine has stalled out and had to be restarted. Fox motors plugs a computer into the car and they tell me that there are no reports of any problems and they can't fix what they can't detect. Two days ago, while driving to the va hospital in battle creek, I pulled out into traffic on anderson rd/street and the car stalled and a fedex semi had to drive onto shoulder and onto a yard to keep from hitting us and if he hadn't, we might have been killed. I took the car into fox motors and they are standing pat, refusing to help us. They did offer to buy the car back from me, but for a terrible price and I asked them what they would do with it and they dealership manager said that they would resell it with confidence and I refused to sell it to them if they were going to resell it with a service certification. How dare them do that! I don't know what to do next.

When I put the car in "N" (neutral) from "D", the keeps moving forward. It has done this since new, it's been a year and keeps doing it. I need to put it in "R" and then back to "N" so that it doesn't move. This is a bad thing, really bad, as "N" is suppose to put the car in idle state but it doesn't do this. I bought my 2014 Honda civic exl new in Feb 2014, and ever since new the TPMS light has been turning on, even though the vehicle has been updated several times with the latest software at the purchasing dealership. Each time after the vehicle was serviced, the lights came back on. The TPMS light comes on at different intervals, at different speeds and over different types of roadways. I then contacted Honda America to resister a case number with them. Honda America instructed me to have my vehicle serviced again by the original dealership, overnight, so their technicians can work in concert with the dealerships technicians. Whatever they did, did not correct the situation as the light came on again within a week. Honda America then had me bring my vehicle to a different dealership, again overnight. Once again the light came on within a week. Honda America now tells me, after 10 months of ownership and numerous attempts to remedy this issue, there is nothing they can do to remedy the malfunctioning TPMS system in my vehicle.

The vehicle came to a large incline and began accelerating, and all of a sudden, the entire vehicle shuddered violently and lost all acceleration, and the malfunction indicator lamp came on and was blinking. It felt like the vehicle had shifted out of gear, and it could not get back in gear. After over 10 minutes, I restarted the vehicle, and the light did not come back on. Although I could feel that pushing on the gas pedal did not feel the same, and it felt as if the vehicle was hesitating and struggling to switch gears up and accelerate. On 8/29/2014, again on the interstate, while again in cruise control (eco boost was not active), going approximately 70 mph, accelerating up a large incline, the vehicle again, all of a sudden, shuddered violently and lost all acceleration, and the malfunction indicator lamp came on and was blinking. It felt like the vehicle had shifted out of gear, and it could not get back in gear. Approximately 70 miles later, without cruise control, going approximately 65 mph, accelerating up a large incline, the vehicle again, all of a sudden, shuddered violently and lost all acceleration. The malfunction indicator lamp came on and was blinking and the dashboard lit up with a message stating "fcw system failed." The fcw indicator light was lit on my dashboard, as well as the ldw light, the low tire pressure light, the electric power steering (eps) system indicator, and the vehicle stability assist (vsa) system indicator. It felt like the vehicle had shifted out of gear and it could not get back in gear or it could not accelerate. After 3 service calls, Honda's response is only "cannot replicate, so there is no problem." There is obviously a serious problem.

From time to time when I press the accelerator, there is no immediate response. It may take another try to get the engine to respond. This mainly occurs when I need rapid acceleration from a stop to quickly get into traffic. I was told that the computer that controls the fly-by-wire accelerator takes time to coordinate with the computer that controls the cvt transmission. I have a safety concern with this.

I drove the brand new Honda Accord with my 9 year old son on high way 93 South in the middle of the lane. It was Friday noon time, busy in high way. I felt something wrong with the car and tried to changed to slow lane. The engine stopped working with error code instead of "D" in the panel. There was big truck behind me. I pulled it over. It was within 24 hour after we picked up the car. It was scary experience! luckily, we are safe! even luckier, it happened when I drove it, not my 20 year old, inexperienced child drove. I could not imagine what would happen it occurred while he drove. Dealer told us it was regulator in the transmission system broken. They replaced the transmission as a solution.

I had just left the dealership after they cleared a "fcw system failed" message and I entered the interstate. While traveling in the lane adjacent to the far left at a speed of approximately 68 mph, the car violently jerked, the fcw system failed message returned, all emergency icons were illuminated on the dash, and my car lost acceleration in traffic. Despite repeated attempts to accelerate the vehicle, the engine had no response and was sitting at idle while I decelerated in the middle of traffic. The vehicle was returned to the dealership where it underwent 3 days of service for what was determined to be a failed accelerator position sensor. The day after picking the car up from the service department, the vehicle was being driven on the highway at approximately 65 mph. The car, without symptoms or warning, again violently jerked, lost acceleration, and displayed the same system failed message. The car has been at the dealership for 8 days and the ECU and main wiring harness are being replaced.

Hesitation (unexpected acceleration) occurs intermittently at low speed. When the car is at a low speed and more power is needed and the accelerator is pressed there is no response initially; accelerator is then pressed more and the car then accelerates much more than was expected, resulting in a jerky, on/off type action. I believe this could cause an accident either when trying to merge into traffic or when trying to accelerate gently and having the car accelerate more than expected (in a parking lot or heavy slow traffic etc).

Very annoying rumbling/vibration that occurs in the 1700-2000 RPM range when the variable cylinder management engages. The severe imbalance of running on only 3 cylinders transmits a distracting rumbling/roaring vibration into the cockpit of the car. When I originally test drove the car, I did so in stop-in-go traffic and also briefly on the interstate, and did not detect this phenomenon until I had purchased the vehicle. After experiencing this vibration, I wrote a detailed letter to the president of american Honda regarding my unhappiness. A colleague of his, named [xxx], contacted me but offered no help. She acknowledged receiving my letter and said that it would go on file. I asked if it were possible to disengage the variable management system, but [xxx] said that Honda does not recommend that. I asked if american Honda would allow me to swap by new 2014 Honda Accord ex-L V6 for a 4-cylinder ex-L, but [xxx] said that would have to be between my dealer and me. I will never purchase a Honda V6 again as long as it has any form of variable cylinder management (vcm). I feel that it is important to go on record regarding this matter. I have been a loyal Honda owner for the last 30+ years and have owned 5 new Honda vehicles over that period of time.
