I purchased the vehicle 1/21. I only took my car to Midland Honda to do all repairs. The last repair I paid them for was a tuneup June 2023. I paid them $1082.90 for the service. October 2023 my car started to do the same thing it did back in June for the tune up. So this time I took the car to AutoZone because the check engine light came on. It showed that it was a misfire. They said the car should not be doing that and that I needed to return it back to the dealership which idea they did a check on the car I was being told it was a fuel pump issue. I asked them if there would-??ve been any notification prior because based on all of the oil changes and anything maintenance that I had them to do they never inform me of anything of a repair that would-??ve required that, I did some research and so that-??s some family members male family members, and they inform me that there was a recall for the fuel system None of my documentation from Honda said anything about any other major issue and that I would not be having any problems they also inform me that the price for the fuel filter would be $1700 to have it replaced. I then took the car for another appointment at another Honda dealership in my area, they perform the same check. They-??re all ASE certified mechanics assuming they all use the same diagnostic device. The other dealership never said anything to me about the fuel system. They only inform me of the antilock brake system, which was puzzling to me because Advance had already told me, it was a misfire for the spark plugs we looked at the spark plugs, the spark plugs from what they said does not look like what a spark plug should look like that has been putting in a calm that was just replaced in June, I contacted the Honda Dealership manufacturing company back in December and was told then that there was a recall for the fuel system. I-??m not sure what the issue is because last not last month March I took the car to another Honda and was told it was a blown Head gas

I purchased my vehicle from Lithia, Inc. d/b/a Wilde Honda in Waukesha, Wisconsin new. Wilde Honda serviced the vehicle on [XXX], after I reported that all lights in the vehicle were coming on. In addition, I experienced an incident on the highway where my car failed to accelerate, putting me in extreme danger. On [XXX], after my vehicle was returned to me, I experienced substantially similar issues immediately, with the same problems accelerating, all of the dash lights coming on, and a rumbling and jittering sound when the vehicle was first started. Wild Honda charged me $4,956.36 for repairs, which did not resolve any issues. I wrote to Alex Reed of Wilde Honda regarding these issues. Mr. Reed assured me that the underlying problem was resolved by replacing a fuel injector, and I was charged an additional $350. On [XXX], I again experienced the same dangerous issue where all the lights came on. Once again, I found myself on the highway, unable to accelerate and faced with a dangerous situation. I have made repeated demands to Lithia to reimburse me for the repairs charged to me, as well as for the fair market value of my vehicle as it can no longer be operated safely. Lithia d/b/a Wilde Honda has made no efforts to resolve this situation and disclaims all responsibility. After researching this issue, I discovered that In October 2018, American Honda notified dealerships that vehicles equipped with a 1 1.5L turbo direct-injection engine -??may experience engine oil dilution-?? and that this -??may result in increased oil level and can cause a [cylinder] misfire-?? and cause a variety of symptoms including a check light indicator due to an engine misfire, a low oil pressure light, and abnormal engine noises. In fact, American Honda reached out and requested that dealerships contact them if the dealerships came across similar issues that plagued my vehicle as American Honda was trying to determine the underlying issue. The vehicle keeps stating the brake mitigation, acc, and other various Honda sensor features need to be repaired and to contact a dealer. The vehicle de-accelerates on its home and doesn-??t allow any of the Honda sense features to work. All the components of the dash are triggered at once. Most of the time the vehicle drives fine without the use of the Honda sense features. I have brought this to Honda and they state they don-??t see any issues known to cause this problem. Short of the fact they never seem to happen when I bring it to the dealership. Most of the time this goes away on its own but lately the problems are lasting days. I don-??t feel safe driving my own vehicle which has been greatly maintained.

while driving in highway, all dash light slit up like a Christmas Tree and vehicle lost power. I was not able to go over 30 mph and was in danger of being rear ended on freeway. I was able to pull over to safety and turn vehicle off. Upon restarting the vehicle, I was able to make it back home. This has happened on 3-4 diff occasions. Honda is not accepting responsibility. They continuously refer me to Honda dealer to be ripped off for a diagnostic. There are several forums online complaining about the same issue. My battery and alternator is good. Please help and hold Honda accountable to their negligence in the build of these vehicles.

1. The Collision Mitigation Breaking System is braking for no reason, at random times while driving 2. My safety and the safety of others is put at risk because when driving on an open road, cars behind me may not have time to break and this could result in an accident. Not to mention, there's nothing in front of my vehicle, so normal things on the road don't cause drivers to assume a car with suddenly brake 3. Yes, the issues been confirmed but I'm expected to pay for it when this has been recalled on several other models 4. This has been happening for the last several months. I put a note in my car to turn off the sensor but as of today, my vehicle will not let me turn off the sensor anymore

Braking system caused my daughter to have an accident. My 2018 Honda Accord sport has been braking on its own for quite some time now. I attempted to turn off all safety features but somehow missed the braking system feature. The car will brake on its own with nothing in front of it. It will give beeping noises and flash -??brake-?? on the dashboard. On 10/12/2022 my daughter was on the interstate, the roads were wet with heavy traffic. She called me saying that she had an accident. The officer stated that speeding played a part in causing the accident. My daughter said the car just started beeping and she noticed she was going to slow in traffic so she preceded to get in the right lane. Upon doing so she said that my car just started spinning and she took her foot off the gas and never applied pressure to the brakes. She ended up on the other side of the road hitting a guard rail. I feel like the braking system played a huge part in this accident.

Vehicle suddenly accelerated one day as if someone had pushed on gas almost causing an accident. Next day vehicle began lagging and suddenly stopped with all lights and warnings going off. Everything from lane departure to emissions issues. Both issues could have easily caused accidents. Looking issues up I see that several Honda-??s of this year are being recalled for fuel pumps but not mine. Several others have had similar issues with their vehicle as well and not being recalled. Vehicle is only 3 years old and less than 40k miles on it. This sudden acceleration or deceleration and dying is going to get someone hurt.

Collision mitigation braking system problem. See your dealer. This has showed up 3 times on my car so far, 2 times in 6 days. Driving in good weather, clean highways, checked radar for debris and have not found any each time. Dealer says no code, nothing wrong! why is it telling me to "see dealer" "??" if nothing is wrong. All the safety, cruise and braking safety features were shut off, could not use cruise alone after. Happened once in 2020 and March 20&26 of 2021. Dealer keeps telling me nothing is wrong!

Driving on I-65 at 70mph (my cruise was set along with acc and lkas). System worked with no issues for ~200 miles. When this happened, the car in front of me slowed down, and my car started slowing down as well. Out of the blue, as I got closer, I got this error in my dash, collision mitigation braking system problem see your dealer. It took a second for me to realize that my car was no longer slowing down. Fortunately I still had enough distance to press on my brakes before hitting the back of the car in front of me.

July 2020, adaptive cruise control (acc) system de-active while I was driving at approx 65mph.received dash board message 'collision mitigation braking system problem. See your dealer'. warning went away after restarting vehicle.dealership could not replicate warning. Nov 2020 acc system again failed, three times, similar circumstances, highway 65-70 mph, restarting again cleared warning. When system fails the cruise control element turns of, and cannot be reactivated. Also, car slows down quickly, because set speed is not maintained.( potential rear end collision situation) car was purchased new in Nov 2018, not problem detected until early July 2020. Problem has not been resolved as of Jan 2021.

Dec 132020

  • 24,000 miles
I was following my wife's car on the expressway. Her speed was 55 mph. I had the adaptive cruise control (acc) on my vehicle set for 70 mph, so naturally I was only 'pacing' her at her slower speed, about four car-lengths back. Suddenly, my car accelerated rapidly toward my wife's car in front of me. I had to hit the brakes to avoid a collision. At that moment, a warning appeared on the instrument panel stating that radar obstructed. But even then, I was able to recreate the same scenario four more times before turning off acc for the rest of the trip. I also noticed that while the car was surging forward, the instrument panel indicated that there was no car in front of me, even though there clearly was. It was almost as if my car 'couldn't see' and decided to accelerate anyway. The system should have failed in a safe manner, but it clearly did not.
