All of the alarms for the computer system started going off on the dash and the steering got VERY stiff. I only had 7400 miles on the car. I was 300 miles into a 600 mile trip. This occurred while I was going about 80 mph and could have been VERY dangerous. When I say the steering got stiff, I mean it took actual strength to turn the wheel. If my wife of daughter were driving, they would not have been able to turn the wheel.
I was going to take the car back to the dealership at the end of the trip the following morning, but the problem stopped itself when I started the car in the morning.
