This the third incident, where I was driving the vehicle and the car lost power, stalled, shut down, and all the sensors on the vehicle went off. The vacaville Honda dealership on the second time refuse to document my issue or look at the battery without me paying for a service. I brought the car in for service. I feel really unsafe in this vehicle and vacaville Honda has a history of not documenting my concerns. The vehicle was in motion and I came to a stop sign where I turned right and noticed the car was not moving when I pressed the gas. The car turned off and then turned on and all the sensors came on. I was able to get the car rolling by going down hill going about 2 mph, even though the speedometer said 16 mph. There was not way I was going at that speed. I had to have the car towed locally to another Honda where I lived and they were unable to tell me why all the sensors went off.

The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 11,760. Consumer says that on 08/22/2020 vehicle braked on its on while exiting an interstate highway at 45 mph. After the car braked on its own, the car started to wobble as though the wheels are about to unbuckle, and the brake light started to flash. Consumer experienced whiplash from the sudden braking. Consumer says that there were no other vehicles around at the time of the incident. On 08/25/2020 consumer took vehicle to jim coleman Honda to be diagnosed and repaired.

They informed me there wasn't any oil left in my engine and this was right after an oil change.they said this never happens, but it did twice. My 36,000-mile warranty is almost up, and I have a feeling this is an ongoing issue. Last time it leaked, it took them three months to fix it. I paid a lot of money when I bought my first new car ever. It's a shame I bought a lemon, and I'm paying monthly for it. This issue needs to be addressed because my car start light always blinks on and off also, and they can't figure it out. Also, my touchscreen has frozen and let the radio on full blast while I was driving and wouldn't shut off on more than one occasion.

At approximately 5:45 pm on June 2, 2020 while traveling on route 30 westbound near coatesville, pa after the route 82 exit the Honda CR-V lost power. The CR-V slowed to under 15 miles per hour while rush hour traffic passed. I estimate that some passing vehicles were traveling in excess of 70 mph. The CR-V finally made it to the airport road exit - a distance of nearly three miles. Note: In two places rt. 30's narrow shoulder was not usable and I was briefly forced back onto the roadway continuing in the slow lane. Once on airport road I found a safe place to pull over, turned off the CR-V and inspected the engine. I restarted the engine and drove to reedman toll Honda. The CR-V has 35,762 miles and has been serviced at all recommended service intervals. My wife was the sole passenger. I was the driver. The unsafe condition presented by the Honda CR-V ended with frayed nerves, but no other injury. However, this is unsafe condition could have easily had a tragic ending.

I ran back to it, jumped in and shifted to park, stopping the car. If I hadn't noticed and stopped the car, someone might have been hurt. When you stop the engine, there should be an automatic shift to park or an automatic activation of the emergency brake.

Doors to the back have not allowed the passengers in the back to open them, causing the children to panic in fear of being trapped in the vehicle. The remote start has only worked (2) times in a years time. There has been a buzzing/ humming motor sound coming from the rear axle area after the vehicle has been stationary for over (5) hours. Gasoline has now been noticed in the oil. The dash periodically goes completely black unable to see anything. The automatic lights (dimming/ bright lights) does not work, and has only worked (1) time. A couple of occasions it has smoked, like large clouds of smoke from the exhaust anytime the accelerator was pushed. Fearful of traveling in the CR-V, we do not use after dark, the amount spent on fuel has more than doubled and we do drastically less driving in the CR-V since the increasing fuel usage. At times it feels as if the vehicle is controlled by someone else, it's difficult correcting the steering when it is pulling towards oncoming traffic.

While driving at a slow speed in a parking lot vehicle misfired and all electrical components became nonfunctional. Lost some control of the vehicle. Parked car immediately and car started to rev itself while in park without pushing the pedal. All system alert indicators came on indicating issues with multiple electrical & engine components. Turned car off for a minute. Turned car back on and all indicator lights remained. Called local Honda dealership immediately and had towed to dealership. Honda dealership indicated that they noticed misfires as well when testing and car was not performing well. Dealership indicated the following in diagnostic report: "found engine oil to be over filled. Code P0300 randam misfire. There was gas in the fuel - performed oil change and updated the pgm - fi system" after conducting research we found that this is a known issue with Honda CRV 2018 models, but there is not an official recall. It is a known issue by Honda that gas gets in to the oil panel and dilutes the oil with gas. This is both a safety and mechanical issue that needs fixed. This is a safety issue as had our car misfired at higher speed this could have easily caused an accident with the amount of lost control of the vehicle. This will also assuredly effect the life of the vehicles engine as oil is diluted by gas. The dealership was not forthcoming with information regarding this known issue by Honda of gas getting into the oil tank and causing stalling and misfires issues just as what happened to us. It was not until we told them we found information on it ourselves did they recognize it. We were informed by the dealership that our particular VIN had already had the update and fix that was suggested by Honda for this issue. If that is the case, then it did not remedy our vehicle, and this is still a safety issue Honda needs to rectify with its customers.

On December 22, 2019 I was headed to church on a four-lane highway and heard the sound coming from the engine, a loud metal to metal sound and the vehicle died. I was able to restart the car and pulled off the road and had car hauled to dealership where I purchased the vehicle and where I had it maintained. I had the vehicle hauled over to dealership on a trailer to avoid driving it. After the dealership investigated, they found that the oil to the engine was blocked but couldn't determine what blocked the oil. Hearing metal to metal it could have been shavings from the metal rubbing together. It is January 9, 2020 and I am still without a my car. They replaced the engine and had it ready on Saturday, January 5, 2020. However, when I drove off in it, the engine was roaring. So, I took it right back and left it once again. They called me on Monday, January 6, 2020 and said my car was ready once again. I went back to dealership in which I work in 53 mile away. I test drove it and the roaring sound was still there. They (the service department) thought it was the tires so they rotated the tires and still heard the roaring sound. They decided it was the wheel bearing. Wheel bearings should not go out in a 2018 vehicle. I felt the roaring was still in the engine. I will hopefully pick my car up on Friday, January 10, 2020 in hopes the roaring sound is gone. I believe this issue is related to the issue the 2017 and 2018 Honda CRV owners are experiencing with the oil. Nevertheless, a 2018 Honda touring should not have all these issues. I am an unhappy customer and now I feel the value of my car is depreciated.
