2007 Honda Civic visors (drivers and passenger sides) break when it gets hot and they flop down unexpectedly interfering with the drivers line of sight. This is the car my daughter drives and I am very concerned about the problem because Honda is doing nothing to fix the problem. I live in Arizona and the visor can't take the heat. I have had both visors replaced 3 times and they are broken again. Aside from the obvious inconvenience, I truly believe this is a safety issue yet the keep putting in the same defective visors.

A sudden collapse of the rear window the rear window collapsed upon itself for no apparent reason, filling the back seat with sharp shards of glass. The car was parked in the driveway, the day was clear and bright, and I was standing right behind the car when the rear window started to collapse upon itself. I shudder to think what would have happened to a baby restrained in the back seat if such a glass shower landed on it while driving. I had the rear window replaced at my own cost. My efforts to have the manufacturer reimburse me under the car warranty failed.

At less than 50K miles on my 2007 Honda Civic ex my windshield wipers started acting erratic. They would not respond to the control, as in they would not turn off when turned to the off position, the delay function was not working, and would not turn on sometimes. When this happened there were times when I could not see due to rain, and the wipers not working properly, and also when I could not clean the dirt, salt and other road gunk off the windshield because they would not work. I took the car into the dealership where they charged me hundred of dollars to replace the windshield wiper motor assembly, when this was obviously a defective part to begin with.

Hello, I bought the 2007 Honda Civic brand new. The sun visors on both sides busted within 2 months. There was no unusual pressure or use. Given the numbered complaints. I thought this should be escalated. We must have Honda resolve the issue definitively and quickly. Both for the ongoing safety and the inexplicable residual cost to the consumer. Please let me know what our rights and recourse are. Please reference this internet link in regards to the extend of the problem. www.usrecallnews.com/2007/09/major-Honda-Civic-recall-of-2006-and-2007-models.html thank you in advance, sharon goh

The visor on the driver side in 2007 Honda Civic LX model is made of cheap plastic and cracks open if you happen to pull it down and put it back up frequently. Once it cracks open it will not stay up again and hangs loose down obstructing the driver's view. It hangs down and very annoying while driving as front view is obstructed because of loose hanging visor. My car is just one and half year old and it has already cracked open twice. Last time when the dealer replaced it since it is under warranty it cracked open in just couple months. If this problem is not fixed it will become a safety hazard as people can not go on buying and replacing the visor every month and in the absence may get involved in car accidents due to vision getting blocked with visor.

We own a 2007 Honda Civic dx which has had a chronic problem with the driver's side sun visor failing twice before and, now, both the driver's side and passenger's side sun visors have failed. Each time a Honda dealer has replaced the defective part. The safety issue is that, with the driver's side malfunctioning, the driver has to hold the visor out of his / her line of site leaving only one hand to drive the car. The manufacturer has been contacted and has said it will replace the defective part as it occurs, however, this part should be examined and re-engineered to give consistent, safe service.
