Cpsc: The drivers side mirror on my 2015 Honda Fit has melted I have read that it could be caused from the high energy windows that were just installed on all the townhouses in the neighborhood. Updated 04/21/2017

Is there a tsb concerning the front bumper cover on this vehicle?

A few months after purchasing the vehicle I was driving on the highway and heard a loud sound like something was dragging under the car. I pulled over and found that the plastic undercarriage had come loose and was dragging on the highway. I took it to the dealership and they insisted that I had hit something, which I had not. They put new screws in but they did not hold and it came loose again. I never hit anything and there was no reason that it should have come loose. I ended up having to take it off when it came loose after an oil change at the dealership and they refused to repair it.

Driver side seat is cause my neck and back pain. In addition, not enough leg room for the left leg. It crammed in with little space. No back support low middle section of my back. I am only 5 7'. body paint is starting show spot of unclear clear coat. In addition, random nose coming from center console and parking bark lever wiggles. Parking lever does not feel tight, I can move it side to side. The issue with the seat was present during test drive. I noticed this issue after three month driving the car. I thought need time to adjust to the car

Sorry, form disappeared, so I am just pasting: Car being driven.. hi Honda, another major issue with my brand new car, waited 3.5 hours for them to tell me, sorry! can't make it happen again! well if I kill somone in my blind spot -- your company will be in a big lawsuit... so lets work on this! I dislike waiting hours, and the woman next to me still there when I left, exhausted like waiting at a airport for sorry! can't make it happen! ``` you know those side mirrors" 2015 Honda Fit top model.. have a lock on it right so you can't lean on it as the advisor hinted at.... how you could lean on a button like that - is beyond me! like these service advisors --- oh! who don't know who the gov national safety commission is he told me... nope, don't know them, ??? I only know Honda - regarding safety recalls that jerk! back to the issue - I had that mirror set! I looked and changed lanes !!! ahhh person in my blind spot... that I could not even see because the mirror was pointed to the the streeet! due to long term vibration, hence making me sit for hours? I need an explanation, for this unsafe practice.. sickens me - but cannot let it "slide" litterally beause when ice on the road soon" that is lives in danger mine, kids, everyone..

The lower engine cover (front) continues to fall off due to cheap plastic screws. Even when the guard is hit by something very small it is prone to fall off, which is not covered under Honda's warranty. This piece of plastic can only be purchased as a kit for almost $400 (sometimes $500 in other states). This is absolutely ridiculous seeing as though I purchased the car because of its low price point. The faulty screws and shield are necessary for the engine's safety. It's very unprofessional and greedy for Honda to suggest I pay this amount for such a cheap product that is bound to fall off again.

The start/off button turns the car off while it is being driven. The car should have to be in park to turn off the engine. Twice now I've accidentally turned my car off while driving by pressing the start/off button instead of the emergency flashers. Once the car turns off, it won't turn back on unless it's in park. Since I was only going 30 mph and was in the right lane, I was able to get the car off the road. In a tense situation, I'm afraid I'll hit the wrong button again when driving on the freeway at a high speed, which would be extremely dangerous.

The skid plate broke. I took it in the said I hit something like a pot hole, but I hit nothing. I took a look under their and it was only being held up by 4 screws. Their was no treading torn holes. It was not properly installed. I tried to get them to replace it for free, due to the manufactures fault, they wouldn't. I took it off myself, because it was hanging to one said. If they would put it on correctly it wouldn't have came lose. They tried to get tough with me at dealer ship and talk down to me. So much for the helpful Honda dealers at valley hi Honda.

I drove the car home from work (app. 15 miles) and parked it under our carport. Nothing was wrong with the rear window because I would have noticed driving home. My wife came home and didn't notice anything wrong either and she would have seen it if it was. I changed out of my work uniform and went outside and put it in the rear floorboard. When I shut the door, the hatchback window shattered in a million pieces. I don't know if it got too hot because it's in full sun all day or what. I do know that I feel a car's glass should never shatter the way that one did. If I was driving, it would've been extremely dangerous with all those tiny bits of glass flying everywhere. Obviously safety glass isn't required all over a vehicle but maybe that should change. I love the car overall but the ease with which this glass shattered really bothers me as I intended to give the car to my daughter in two years. Now I'm apprehensive about doing that. I have photos I can send if they're needed. My dealer hasn't responded back to me but it's only been two days. I am going to contact Honda North America though. Again, this glass shattered into pieces as tiny as possible. There's not a one square inch piece that's left of the entire hatchback glass.
