Vehicle has experienced several problems with the sliding doors prior to and after recall 00V119, on one occasion the door opened about one foot while the consumer was driving.
- Lake Oswego, OR, USA
Both the rear sliding doors are impossible to open in cold weather. We can open it only after the interior of the van warms up considerably. Have contacted the dealer last winter and he applied grease on the door seals which seemed to fix the problem at that time. It has returned again this winter. Currently the vehicle is under warranty. I am worried that once the vehicle is out of warranty the dealer won't even take a look at the problem unless I pay for it.
- Whitehall, PA, USA
Side door will not open. Latch from either inside or outside appears to partially unlatched, but not enough to allow the door to be pulled open. Children cannot get out of the car. Also gas tank door is stuck open, when manually closing it the electric locks lock the car from the outside! it is possible to lock yourself out of the car.

Vehicle was parked. Engaged the slide door to close and forgot something. Reached in while door was closing and got caught. Safety feature was designed in a manner that door will retract if something is in its way, but it fails to retract until the door is almost closed. In the owner's manual it states that the door may close enough to cause bruising before it retracts.
