Power liftgate closes unexpectedly every time it is opened on model year 2006 Odyssey touring vehicles equipped with power operated rear liftgate. Vehicle owner hit in head by closing liftgate. Right power liftgate gas strut has worn out prematurely and fails to hold the power liftgate in the fully open position. Parts replaced by dealer to correct the failure.

My 2006 Honda Odyssey's rear spoiler flew off the back of the vehicle while driving along an interstate narrowly missing the vehicle behind me. The spoiler apparently broke due to normal use while the vehicle had some ice on the roof. The extended warranty coverage I purchased denied coverage. I paid to replace the spoiler.

My family owns a 2006 Honda Odyssey. Since 8,000 miles on the vehicle we have been asking for warranty work on the sliding doors. The rear passenger electric sliding door does not close on an incline due to mechanical failure. We have to drive to a flat area with the door open and the kids in the car to get the door to close. Honda has attempted to fix it 6 times unsuccessfully. It hasn't worked since the car had 8,000 miles and now they don't want to cover it under warranty even though its a safety issue.
