While driving, airbag, (!), vsa, vtc and brake lights all lit up. Horn stopped working as did all controls from steering wheel (cruise, radio airbag light). I pulled over, everything seemed to work but lights would not turn off. Went to Honda in ft pierce, fl. Was told it's probably a low battery. Replaced battery, lights all stayed on. Contacted johnston Honda in stuart, fl. Head mechanic told me he had no idea what would cause this and if he ran it on diagnostics, it could take 8 hours at $80 an hour and he still may not find the problem. Brought this lemon to local mechanic who ran on diagnostics for 2 hours. Could not find problem so he did not charge. As almost all other complaints above, while driving at 35 to 40 the car starts to shudder as though it will turn off. Was told it's possibly defective motor mounts. I have contacted american Honda motor works in California with these issues and they essentially told me to 'gfy'. stated car is not their problem.

I am the original owner of a 2005 Honda Pilot exl. The SRS light came on while driving the vehicle and did not go off. There has been no impact to the vehicle. Upon inspection, the Honda dealership stated that the passenger front impact sensor failed. The sensor must be replaced at a cost of $305. If not replaced, the airbag would not be deployed in an accident. There have been similar incidents reported by other 2005 Honda Pilot owners and this issue should be addressed by NHTSA.

Airbag front impact sensors failed on 2005 Honda Pilot ex. There was a recall for this same issue on the 2005 Honda Odyssey. There should be a recall for this issue. How does a front airbag sensor go bad. This should have been handled by Honda. A recall should be issued for this reason. I know several people with different model Honda that are having the same issue and are being charged hundreds of dollars. There is also a transmission problem with the Pilot radiators that I will fill out another complaint for. Thank you.

SRS warning light goes on and stays on for days, then goes off and seems ok for a while. Sometimes it comes on briefly and goes off. Lately it has come on again and has not gone off for a couple of weeks straight. There has been no accident or airbag deployment in this vehicle.

I was traveling at 45 mph down a 2 lane road. A 1998 Toyota Camry traveling at 50 mph in the opposite direction turned into my lane. The driver hit the left front of my vehicle without braking. The impact forced my Pilot onto two wheels coming down on the front hood of her car. The impact forced me from the road through a ditch, I hit a concrete culvert with the right front of my vehicle which sent my entire vehicle airborne. I landed in the middle of a gravel road and continued into a yard where I sheared off two utility pole support wires. The impact destroyed the left front of my vehicle, breaking all of the suspension components including the sway bar and control arms. It also did suspension damage to the right front of my vehicle. The impact also destroyed the rocker panel and both left side doors on my vehicle along with all four alloy wheels and tires. I hit the side windows with my head several times and also contacted the "a" pillar with my head. The passenger in the front seat also sustained neck/ head injuries contacting the "a" pillars and windshield. Neither the side impact of frontal impact air bags deployed. I contacted the dealer and the manufacturer about my concerns on multiple occasions. Neither was concerned about the failure. The total collision damage was $13,700.

I am the original owner of a 2005 Honda Pilot. My problem is that the airbag light has come on in my vehicle. I was told by the dealership that my airbags will not deploy in case of a crash. I had to initially pay 100 dollars just to get them to look at it and now I am having to wait up to 2 months for the part that is backordered. I am very scared that something may happen and I will not be protected.

Wanted to call to your attention that the front impact sensor on my Honda Pilot 2005 needs replaced. The dealership says the part is on backorder with unknown availability. Without being replaced I was informed that none of my vehicles airbags will work currently. Also he stated that he has had to order 3 in the last week for other customers who have had the same problem from that dealership alone. Should this be considered for a recall?

Caller's wife while driving the vehicle it was hit in the right front wheel area, and air bag deployed. Caller's wife hands were burned very badly. Caller believed a subs tango from the air bags burned wife's hands. The substance was a gray color and was embedded in her skin and cudgel's. she had bumps and bruises. But the burns were making her extremely uncomfortable, and she was having a hard time. Dealer/ manufacturer had not been contacted. A police report was filed. She had to go to the doctor twice to get an ointment and pain pills.
