Rear tail lights keep blowing out bulbs

Fuel gauge and fuel pump sending unit. Safety issue with the fuel gauge as it will not accurately show fuel level and will sometimes show empty because of a faulty fuel pump sending unit. The warranty on this vehicle should be extended to repair this safety issue. This started approximately two years ago and has gotten progressively worse.

Takata recall my door locks on my passenger door no longer works, have to do locking and unlocking by hand. All other doors in the car work, but not passenger. Normally when the car is in drive all doors locks automatically and when in park the unlock until you lock with the remote....all does it but the passenger. Dealership quoted me 378 to fix omg, these should be a recall..I regret buying this car, because it have many issues you see the recall list....

I have had issues with this car since I purchased it and purchase the extended warranty however all it has done is help with standard oil changes. The power steering or the steering wheel rather begin making a loud clicking noise when going in reverse it would be more pronounced I took it to the dealership and after two times there they finally said oh it's the left transaxle I took the vehicle home and immediately same sound I took it to capital Hyundai and they said oh it's the right transaxle my tires have worn three times already on the front since I purchased this car in 2014 so I'm going through six tires in three years on the front end in addition to this problem I took the car in because the radio volume up button when I pressed it would initiate the phone functions of the car when I would hit cruise control resume then it would cancel the cruise control completely I told him this and they ended up replacing the left side buttons on my steering wheel but now my cruise control doesn't work at all in addition to this when I plug in iphone charger socket into the power receptacle the radio stops working and has complete interference when I pull it out the interference stops in the radio returns to normal the cooling function of the vehicle is nonexistent it blows hot air regardless until the engine gets really warm then it will blow cool air. As soon as the vehicle stops moving instance if I stop at a red light it begins blowing hot air again. When I had my oil changed in the last time I checked the oil and it was already black I took the car in for these service for the recall for the engine inspection and I feel like Hyundai is going to say there's nothing wrong with the car because they're representing Hyundai. I believe there should be an independent inspection facility to ensure that these engines are up to standard I don't believe my engine is

The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The contact received a manufacturer recall notice concerning a connecting rod. The contact was unable to schedule a repair within a reasonable time frame and was uncertain of when an authorized dealer would schedule a repair. The manufacturer referred the contact to a dealer for the recall repair. In the interim, the contact heard an abnormal noise coming from the vehicle and there was an electrical concern. The NHTSA campaign number, VIN, and failure mileage were not available.

The car suddenly starts losing power and a ready sign starts blinking, two times it worked to shut it off and back on, last time it didn't work and I had to take the car to the dealer and they are investigating the issue

The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled several times. There had been multiple failures concerning the six manufacturer recalls that the vehicle was included in, and the contact was uncertain of when the dealer would provide a remedy and the parts. The steering wheel made an abnormal noise and the engine had an internal failure, in which metal fragments were released, and there was a loss of oil. The contact was unable to determine what caused the oil to lower and the premature failure of the engine. The engine assembly was replaced by an independent mechanic. The dealer had been unclear as to when the remedy and parts would be available. The VIN was included in NHTSA campaign numbers: 16V190000 (steering), 17V152000 (seat belts), 15V759000 (service brakes, hydraulic), 15V568000 (engine), 14V433000 (service brakes, hydraulic) and 10V457000 (steering). The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was not available.

I own a 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE 2.4 liter sedan which I purchased in March 2011. I have encountered no issues with engine stalling or hesitation. On Sunday, 05/07/17, without warning, the vehicle (mileage 57,880) would not start. The next day, the vehicle was towed from my driveway to the pearson Hyundai dealership for a $109 diagnostic inspection. Tuesday morning troy, the service technician, called to inform me that the car needed a starter. The cost for parts and labor would be $650/new or $250/rebuilt. I read numerous forums where consumers reference starter malfunction at low mileage. Clearly, there is an ongoing issue with the starter on this vehicle. The manufacturer should take responsibility and replace the starters at no cost to the consumer.

Vehicle in motion on highway headlights, interior dash lights start flickering on and off. Have had to replace driver side headlight twice owning the car just at a year. Vehicle parked at home doors locked neighbors come to tell me in the middle of the night my lights are on. Lights do not have the "auto" option. So the lights were off prior to locking car. The only lights lite at the time of neighbors concern were the yellow hazard lights and tail lights. Unlocking and locking the car seemed to fix the issue. But this isn't the first time happening. Also the in cabin dome light flickers on and off if left on the "door" option. So it has to be left on "off". seems to be a major electrical issue going on. As there are hundreds of other people complaining of the same exact issue. Moving on to the engine issue. Vehicle in drive at a red light idling the engine will just stall out of nowhere vehicle seems to jerk as if it wants to take off. I find myself applying more pressure to the brake because it scares me. It never shuts off completely however it does this so random that and issue can not be found.

The passenger side power door lock on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata with 40,000 miles suddenly malfunctioned. There was no sign of error until it simply stopped working. In order to lock the passenger side door you must do it manually. You must also unlock it manually as well. This is a problem because the car does not have a key hole on the passenger side door. If the passenger needed to get in the car in a hurry it would be difficult as the driver would have to enter first and reach across to unlock the passenger side door manually. Also, it makes it difficult to secure the vehicle because the driver must reach across the vehicle to lock it whenever leaving the vehicle.

The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer for an oil change and front wheel alignment. The contact was informed that the alignment could not be performed. The technician was informed that the error in the software for the power steering caused an error in their system; therefore, an alignment could not be performed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The technician stated that the vehicle fell under NHTSA campaign number: 10V426000 (steering), but the VIN was not included. The failure mileage was approximately 123,000.

Engine shuts off while driving (various speeds), no power, no steering for maybe a second. It has happened three times. So far, the power comes back on within a second (did not have to put in neutral or park to restart). All have happened in city driving (have not been highway driving lately)

While driving in the city heading to the store the car just shuts right off and starts smoking I tried to restart it but still wouldn't start so I installed new battery tried to restart again, but when I did I saw smoke come out from the engine again, the smoke smelled electrical so believe it was a bad (starter)part made out of plastic

When driving at night with the lights on, when I turn the turn signal on, the headlights turn off, come back on, and flicker on and off, as well as the interior lights. This is an ongoing issue not something has happened just once. It's extremely dangerous as they may just go out completely and somebody could crash into the front of me or not see that I'm trying to turn there's also been numerous reports of this on blogs and such forth.
