I was driving on the Highway and my vehicle started blinking with all of the check lights going off and it stated -??hybrid system warning stop and pull over immediately-??. The car seemed to continue to jerk with the gas than the brakes went off. My steering wheel would not allow my to turn and I was very close to getting into an accident. My 6 month old baby was in the car and I feared for both of our lives. Every time I turn the car on it states the same thing... please help

For 6 months I have received emergency notification "hybrid system warning! safely stop and do not drive" also "check brakes" most recently the warning lights came on while driving 65mph and the car lost all power. Most often this occurs when the car is parked. The dealership has looked at it twice. The first time they replaced the battery to resolve the issue. The second time they were "unable to replicate the problem" and said there was nothing they could do to fix the problem. As the car lost power while on a major highway I feel it is unsafe to drive. When the warning lights are on the brakes must be fully pressed down to engage. I filed a case with Hyundai but have received no response in two weeks

The brake lights keep burning out every couple months. You can check from my VIN that I have only serviced from local Hyundai dealership since I bought it from them. I researched online and this problem is affecting many Hyundai models. Basically, the brake light socket is so hot that it burns and melts the light bulb. This is really a fire hazard. Why is there not a recall yet on this problem? over the past year, I have replaced my light bulbs like 4 or 5 times. Please take a look into this. It will save a lots of people

Loud beeping alarm goes off, the power behind the gas pedal starts to decrease and breaks start to make a terrible grinding sound. The screen says 'hybrid system warning...' then changes to 'check brakes'. the red emergency brake light is on constantly. It has done this 3 times in past 4 days.

I noticed the brake lights were still on after the car was parked and turned off in the garage. On further inspection the brake pedal switch stopper had disintegrated and was no longer depressing the switch. The vehicle could shift out of gear without pressing the brake. I did not feel safe driving the vehicle until this was repaired. This was supposedly replaced in 2016 under a recall for a similar failure. I drove a separate vehicle to obtain a replacement part and the problem is now fixed. There was no warning before failure.

When I purchased the vehicle in September of 2020 I noticed every once in awhile when I push on the brake the brake light would come on and the panel felt very spongy. I took it to the dealership and they fix the light they told me the brake pedal feel was normal. But Kia and Hyundai have a recall out right now it does not cover my car but from what I've read of the recall it sounds like that's what's happening to my car. With a heightened fear of being rear-ended, or worse, for the now we disconnect the battery cable.
