Both taillights failed. The brake light bulbs melted and fused the bulb to the socket housing for both tailights. The other bulbs also show signs of extreme heat damage as the light bulbs are burned black and the plastic near the light bulb is all black. I was informed my taillights were out while driving at night.

Takata recall when I cut on my head lights shorty after that my rear lights go out and the only ones to work are the 3 brake lights when the brake is pressed. I can cut the headlights off then on again and it does the same thing over and over. Car is stationary. Car key will get stuck at ignition due the car's electrical shifter malfunction. The car's electrical shifter has a safety feature that locks the key in while the car is out of "park", but when it is malfunctioning, it will not release the key at all. Drivers will have no choice but leave car key in the car's ignition and it causes hazards to minors or child in the house or on the streets because key can still start the car without problem, also doors can not be locked when the key is stuck in ignition.
