Hybrid drive system alarmed and then failed on freeway causing car to roll to stop.. 12V system failed w/no emergency flashers, lights or 12 volt electrical systems. All non-operative.

My engine was recently replaced due to a settlement agreement due to faulty engine which died, this occurred in October 2020 and I received my vehicle back two weeks ago with a new engine. Last night on 11/19/2020 the engine in my vehicle burst into flames while I was parked in a restaurant parking lot. The engine caught fire with no notice and I had to contact the fire department to put the fire out.

While the car was in motion, the warning sign came on the display with the following message: Hybrid system failure. Stop. Do not drive. Less than 10 seconds after the warning, the car lost power and stalled in the middle of the street. There was not enough time to pull the car to safety.

Front head lights keep blowing out as well as backlights. The wiring has gotten so hot that it has started to melt the housing that holds the tail lights so they keep blowing out.

I sent a notice before explaining what happen but I was mcdonald's line my car was in park and when I try to put it in drive I heard a click noise my car wouldn't move out of park and after holding the line up over an hour I had someone to help me move it. It was after 9pm so I had to sleep in my car until midnight waiting for help I finally was able to get the car towed to my home and it was a $90 fee I missed 3 days of work to find a local mechanic to fix it because Hyundai said my car wasn't under warranty it had expire so now I barely drive it but still have to make payment it still not fixed correctly now when I try to shift gears it takes a while before the computer reads it. My light issues in the car the front headlight keeps going out I spent over $100 in the past month. Nothing is showing it's over heating or melting I had to pay someone to look at it and they can't seem to figure it out this had cause me to get pulled over more than once because I work overnight. Please help

This car has so many recalls its scary. I've had my car checked multiple times for recalls from the seatbelt to the engine bearings. My engine light came on a few months ago and I've noticed this car doesn't hold oil well and I have to constantly check it. I was leaving a store on a main highway and my car statred8to jerk. A few moments later, the warning lights on my dashboard were on. I pulled off the ride and tried to park and the car wouldn't stop! I had to put the car in park in order for the car to not keep rolling down the road. The car will run while in neutral but not while in drive. The scariest thing was I thought I was going to hit a building not far from where I parked. Thank god I thought quick. I'm disappointed in the Hyundai brand. Never had I had so many issues with a car. All the repairs are super expensive for the inconvenience customers have. I like my car but with so many different recalls and issues every 6-12 months shows poor quality and its unsafe to operate. I'm unhappy I purchased this car and found 4 open recalls after it was off the lot.

My check engine light has came on while I was driving it's just cut off on the highway 3 times.. I took it to the shop and he put it on the machine and the gas lid was to tight so he took it off and it started running as normal but the check engine light would not go off it kept saying the sensor code the next day I was driving and it started making funny noise then it cut off while making a loud knocking noise had to get the car towed kept cutting off and the noise gotten louder it will start but when U drive it cuts off it was a rod knock as the shop told the motor is no more good and my car was running perfectly fine and the sensors are really terrible in my car and had to get towed again off the highway

The contact was informed that the brake light assemblies needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

When I was driving on the highway in the third left lane all of a sudden the car started to beep and stated hybrid system failure stop take to shop don't drive but the car lost power before I can pull over and stall on the highway luckily I cut it all the way off and cut it back on and was able to move it.

The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.

I have had both my back light harnesses where a bulb has blown and it was so hot it melted the bulb ends into the socket and I had to replace the whole harness for one side and might have to replace it for the other side as well. The vehicle inside dash lights would also start flickering off and on as well as the outside lights while the vehicle is in motion. This is concerning to me and I know they have had numerous complaints on this and it is a safety issue, but yet they have not done any recalls. Why please advise.

Purchased a 2013 Hyundai Sonata in September 2019 from Hyundai superior North in fairfield Ohio. There has been an ongoing outage with the passenger side tail light overheating and blowing out. I replaced it three times( November 2019, twice in June 2020) since my purchase. The most recent replacement it blew out the same day. I seen there are reviews and videos on the internet stating this is an ongoing problem with 2013 Sonatas. This is a road hazard and illegal operation of a vehicle if pulled over by law enforcement when will a recall be issued and resolved? to add to the bulb /electrical problem. A month ago a recall letter was mailed for oveheating motor with no remedy in place to fix it. I feel like I purchased a lemon with all the issues starting to pile up. My car only has 68,000 miles on it. As a first time buyer this is unacceptable and beneath my expectations for Hyundai. I need these recalls resolved immediately. My head lamp bulb have been replaced 3 time in the past 6 months and the brake light bulbs have been replaced 5 times as of today. There has go to be something that is causing this to happen. No bulbs should have to be replaced this often.

It first, just started with the tail light going out. Then, they started getting real hot. T the bulb started melting and could get out. Now, it's burn where the bulb goes. It's burned and had melted around where can't replace a bulb. Call the dealership they said; need to replace the whole lamp each side is $230 for each. I had got stop watch by the police for not having no tail lights. I can not afford the repairs. My car note is $362. And, have been off and on of work do to conv19.
