Transmission gear not catching periodically. And the rear brake lights have blew out for the fourth time. Both brake harnesses were replaced by Hyundai previously due to burn up.

I made a complaint against this same problem but now it is on the opposite side. The brake rear passenger side has burned. The dealership blocked em from making an appointment to repair the defect. I will try again. This is the second burning of the brake light system.

The contact owns a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. When the contact depressed the brake pedal, the exterior brake lights failed to illuminate. The failure occurred intermittently and the brake warning indicator illuminated. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 38,000.

The contact owns a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that the transmission slipped and the vehicle jerked violently sometimes. On one occasion, in a shopping plaza parking lot, the vehicle jerked violently, the steering wheel seized, and the vehicle accelerated on its own. The brakes failed to operate and the contact's vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle twice. The air bags did not deploy. The contact sustained injuries to the neck and back, which required medical assistance. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed by the police to an independent mechanic. The vehicle was then taken to an insurance body shop to be diagnosed, but a failure could not be located. The body damage was repaired. The failure mileage was 2,000.

Vehicle was stationery. In some cases is difficult to start the engine because the brake pedal is very hard (almost rock solid), driver must press harder the brake pedal to make the vehicle start (smart key procedure). If vehicle doesn't detect the driver's foot in pressing the brake pedal, the engine will not start and ignition switch will go to acc or on position. Events occurred in 01/24/2019 and dealership (called 01/25/2019) wants to inspect the vehicle in February 15,2019 because they are full until that date.
