There is still no remedy for the current ABS recall on my vehicle.

Front passenger's door takes more than one try to open. Same problem happened to the driver's door. Vehicle was locked and stationary both times. Apparently this issue is pretty common when it shouldn't. it's a major safety concern and I'm concerned that another one of the doors could fail to open during an emergency.

The automatic dual clutch hesitates when attempting to accelerate and has almost caused multiple accidents on the expressway due to this issue, especially when merging or turning. Vehicle stalls for 30 seconds or more.

Our 2017 Hyundai Tucson is going through a lot of oil. We are having a consumption test done. I called the Hyundai dealer where we had the oil change and he said he heard something about Hyundai Tucson's burning through a lot of oil. I did see a lawsuit for the 2016 models and think 2017 models are having similar issue. Our seat reclining electrical button is also failing the seat to recline properly.

Vehicle is hesitant to accelerate. Stutters and shakes. Returned immediately to auto mechanic department on several occasions. I was continuously told the vehicle only needed warming. I specifically asked when purchasing this vehicle if this offered a smooth ride. Car salesman guaranteed smooth and safe. So far it has been everything but that. I am also embarrassed to give anyone a ride due to the shaking stuttering.

Rear window spontaneously shattered in the spring of 2018 (early may). Called dealership who couldn't replace and sent to go through insurance. Fall of 2019 (September) the same window spontaneously shattered. Both times no physical injury to window, car was parked in locked lot. These occurred at change of season. Upon researching this issue there are numerous discussions of spontaneously shattering windows for Hyundai vehicles. Luckily no one was hurt this time. Reports of this occurring vary from while in motion or parked, although both of mine occurred while the car was parked.

Dtc problem. When stopped and I step on the gas to move, my car 'stutters' and seems like the car will stall. If I put my foot on the gas it will leap forward. In stop-and-go traffic, my car stutters along and this has become quite dangerous when the traffic is very bad. This has been going on since I purchased the car in January 2018 but had progressively gotten worse. The dealership said it is normal for the car and then said it needs a software update but my car does not have one.

I was driving my children to school who were sitting in the back seat when we heard a huge pop and the glass above them was shattered and starting falling on them. It was very scary and the children became very emotional. I immediately called the car dealership and they told me there was nothing they could do and I would be better off calling insurance.

My 2017 Tucson feels as though it will stall during slow speeds, such as in a drive way, or in stop and go traffic. It stutters as though it is a manual clutch transmission with an inexperienced driver. In addition, when taking off from a stop sign, the car often does not respond appropriately to acceleration and will not move even when the engine revs at a higher RPM. I have had many close calls when turning right onto a busy street and my car does not respond creating a hazard as I roll slowly into oncoming traffic. I have taken it to the dealer several times and have been told that they cannot recreate the complaint during a test drive and that the stuttering is due to the dual clutch transmission and that is is supposed to perform this way. The last time I took it in (July 2019), I was told that they did a software update, but this did not improve the problem and it seems to be getting worse. This vehicle is only two years old, but I am concerned about my safety and the safety of my family, so am planning to trade it in to Hyundai and purchase another vehicle that does not have the dual clutch transmission.

Car shakes when going from idle and releasing the brake prior to putting foot on the gas. Shakes while in park as well. Most noticeable while sitting in traffic at red light, release brake, inch up a few feet without touching any pedals car will shake and shutter.

When the air conditioner is turned on there is stingy smell coming out of the vents but in a few minutes it goes away. I don't know if there is a leak in the system. I mentioned it to the dealer and they said they haven't received any recalls on that problem. Happens every day I use the car.

Everytime I stop at a light or slow down I almost get in a accident because the transmission keeps feeling like it wont shift and stall out and has no power. This is a known problem I need a resolution for please. I have kids and got this SUV for safety but now I am scared to drive with them

1-al arrancar el vehiculo de manera ocacional SE queda ahogado no, no inicia Y si lo hace no alcanza la marcha apropiada, como si pasara un exceso de combustible O como si este no SE estuviera inyectando. 2-) al arrancar en trafico congestionado donde SE producen arranques Y frenados Y viceversa el carro lo hace con bastante dificultad, golpeando fuerte parecido a transmision, son golpeteos de arranque Y retroceso a la vez, creando la sensacion de un vehiculo que no va a avanzar.siempre lo hace en movimiento despues de estar caliente mas de 30 -60 minutos en marcha.

Takara recall. My vehicle was parked I started the engine. I noticed on the dashboard it said battery low and my car started to go in reverse slowly even though I had my car still in park and my foot on the brake. I turned my car on and off several times as it was slowly going in reverse and I change the gear from park to drive to move forward and it still went backwards. Finally the car came to a stop I turned off the car again and it started normally. This is why I'm writing to you today that my computer screen on my dashboard told me the battery was low and it did go in reverse even when the car was in park and my foot was on the break.

Starting out from a complete srop the engine or tranmission hesitates, then fires up quickly propelling you forward. It has caused near misses when we pull out into traffic. We purchased the car new in late Dec 2016 and returned to dealer 3 months later reporting this issue. Its been back 3 times total. Now I'm reading that Hyundai has been aware of this problem and refuses to give any relief to owners of the tuscons and other crossovers having the same problems. It is a serious safety hazard guaranteed to seriously injue, mame or kill people. I see complaints from all over the U.S., so its not something weather related or altitude related as others have been told by their dealers service depts.

While driving I have noticed that when I begin to accelerate after a complete stop my car jerks forward and doesn't catch. It's almost as if the vehicle stalls before moving forward, this happens when moving forward or reversing from a complete stop. I haven't been able to get a response to the issue from the dealership though I've let them know there is an issue multiple times over the past 3 months.

Traffic was clear and attempted to turn left. While doing so, the vehicle abruptly stalled and I could not accelerate to my lane, causing brief panic since I was in the vehicle with my baby and a freightliner was now approaching. The vehicle responded in the same manner while my husband drove it several days later. Additionally, there was a horrendous smell coming from the vehicle as we traveled in traffic at about 3mph or less. My husband and I were on edge and just wanted to get home safely without any further issues with the Tucson. We purchased the vehicle from Hyundai of longview on November 29, 2017.

Vehicle frequently, intermittently, stalls during take off from a stop. When accelerating from a stop sign or traffic light vehicle will simply roll as if it is freely rolling in neutral but is not receiving any power or acceleration from the engine for approximately 3 to 5 seconds before engine/drivetrain engauges and vehicle accelerates. This creates an extreme safety hazard when you have the vehicle in an intersection and accelerate to make a left turn in a gap in traffic and end stuck in the intersection or in front of an oncoming vehicle because the vehicle is only rolling and not accelerating. This issue has been reported to Hyundai usa corporate who has chosen not offer any remedy and has it stated to me this is a "characteristic of my vehicle.". Hyundai usa has continually referred me back to the dealership, who does not have a fix for this issue. Hyundai usa has even place the blame for this issue on the dealership. However the issue here is that Hyundai usa engineers have not admitted to having this problem or created a fix to this problem to roll out to the dealership to allow them to remedy this problem. This identical issue has been reported and issued as a recall in prior models of this vehicle, yet Hyundai refuses to do anything on this model

I leased this car less than a year ago and it was driving fine in the beginning. Now it hesitates go after I stop. I almost got killed making a left turn into on coming traffic which I have to do every single day leaving work and the car doesnt change gears right away. It takes 3-25 seconds to accelerate. It is super dangerous I am afraid I might get killed leaving my job one day. It does the same thing when accelating from a light. It also vibrates while im driving. Hyundai wont do anything about it and im really scared to drive this car that I pay a lot of money for every month. It drives like a 15 yr old car all of a sudden and I dont know what to do with it since im in this lease for another 2 years and some change. It also jerks after taking off. It is very hazardous when making a left turn if I dont leave enough time I will get hit by a car.
