The contact owns a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. While driving 45 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The failure recurred intermittently. The vehicle took multiple attempts to restart. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the vehicle needed an oil change. The vehicle was repaired, but the remedy failed. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was further diagnosed that the positive crankcase ventilation valve failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 5,400.
