Flash: Powertrain Diagnostic and System Improvements
This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software.
Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) has been set:P0607 - ECU Internal Performance.
Customers may experience one of the following:Immediate Autostart after Autostop (without releasing the brake pedal).
Failed Autostart ? engine cranks but does not start, or starts and then stalls.
The following software enhancement is also available:Electric Stop/Start (ESS) improvements.
