Dayton andrews Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, Inc. Sold me a dangerously defective vehicle and refuse to abide by lemon law. On April 21 2018 I purchased a new Jeep Compass latitude 4X2 sport utility with 15 miles on odometer. August 2 I returned the vehicle to dealership due to engine stalling, intermittent engine shut offs, warning lights, check engine lights on, electrical failure and multiple loss of panel communication faults. August 6, I was told to pick up vehicle. Upon arrival lead mechanic stated it's a lemon and that I should go lemon law. He couldn't find the source of the issue, it's a manufacturing defect but it seems to be repaired this time and he will continue trying to fix vehicle if ordered by his boss. Before I could leave the dealership parking lot vehicle stalled and electrical failure with multiple loss of communication occurred, so the vehicle never left lot and remained until October 29th until I was told it had been repaired and to pick up. On October 31st, vehicle had electrical failure and multiple loss of communication and complete blackout of control panel screen. On November 7 Chrysler formally refused to buy back the vehicle and instead added insult to injury offering $3000 to keep the defective vehicle, shut up and go away. Vehicle leased new began to have grumbling, load humming noise coming from transmission at 37mph. Took test drive in another vehicle same noise. Jeep said known issue waiting for update. Took vehicle back to dealer updated transmission and drive line module. Noise still there, if vechile placed in 4X4 or ESC turned off noise will disappear. Noise sounds like it can be driveline or transmission not in right gear. Car is not shifting correctly and RPM goes high. Vehicle has stalled out a few times for no reason car was stationary with foot on brake and the auto start off disabled. Heated steering wheel and seats get extremely hot. Shut down on there own at times for no reason. Poor gas mileage is related to engine, transmission and driveline problems

I was driving on a county road and the message "service hill assist" came on the screen. I kept driving and the messages "service ESC" and "service engine soon" came on the screen. The power steering went out, the screen for the radio kept flashing on and off, and I could not turn the engine off with the push button ignition. This happened two more times as I was trying to turn the car off and on, and I eventually got the vehicle home. This is a safety issue that needs to be dealt with immediately by Jeep.

All 24 warning lights came on and the vehicle came to a complete stop on 3-4 occasions. Towed to dealer on 3 separate trips. Dealer has not offered another car yet. I was driving and the warning lights came on and the car stopped and I could not get it started back, so I had it towed.
