Fuel gauge reads inaccurately, cannot determine the correct amout of gas in tank due to a defective sending unit. Vehicle VIN# is not included in recall 97V194002, but has same defect.

Fuel gauge did not register the correct amount of fuel, which nearly caused a crash on an interstate highway. Owner has contacted manufacturer about recall 97V194000. Owner was told that there was no record of recall. Problem has not been corrected.

This vehicle is only 3 years old with low mileage, it should not require a new fuel pump costing owner $500 in towing, parts and labor. Dealer where vehicle was purchased was of no help!

Defective design of the front and rear differential which makes a "whining noise" and cause the metal to be shaved off. Dealer had to replace both differential. Front and rear differentials were replaced. The fuel leak was caused by fuel pump module failure.

Now six weeks later, same thing happening to car. Not fuel gauge problem, as tank 3/4 full.
