Ventilation system becagn to act irregular and then did not work at all. Defrost as well as other vent uses were of no use to the driver during the winter/cold weather here. The dealer tech told me it was a resistor theat melted the harness. Tech said he never saw anything like this. They needed to order the parts to fix, meanwhile I am waiting to speak with the salesperson who sold my family this vehicle.

Ventilation system stopped working. I was told resistor overheats causing harness and motor to melt. Repair is $500+ service technician said it "happens alot". seems to me resistor needs to be upgraded.
