Grand Cherokee 4WD 8-cyl

Vehicle - 2002 grand Jeep Cherokee ltd problem - 03/14/2002, 06/27/2003 complaint - "ticking" and rattling noises from front dash and floor gear shift area when driving with and without the heat or air turned on. Was told that the blend doors were operating normally for this vehicle and there was no problem. 11/23/2004 had to bring the vehicle in for repair - heat was gone on the passengers side. I noticed that there are at least 4 other reports ODI reports for this same problem. Happens when the warranty expires - I agree - what a scam !!!!
