The transfer case is bad, the car only have 30000 but the transfer case is bad and it shakes over sixty and once U brake the whole car shakes, I took it to the dealer and they said its a transfer case bad and the 4WD is not working, and the ignition switch keep killing the battery.

When driving my vehicle on the highway I noticed that all of the warning lights on my dashboard were flashing on and then off again, this happened numerous times. It stopped after a few minutes. My fuel, tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure gauges also went from the on to off positions. I notified my car dealership and brought the vehicle in for repair, the service manager said " they can't find the problem if it doesn't present itself " so I drove the vehicle back home. Weeks had passed and the same things happened again, all the warning lights came on then they went off numerous times, the gauges went on and off also. I called the dealership again, they told me take off any unnecessary items off the keyring this could be the problem. I told the dealership that " I don't have anything on my keyring" they told me they wouldn't be able to find the problem unless it presents itself. I spoke to a mechanic who has 30 yrs of experience in auto repairs and electrical troubleshooting. He told me it was probably the ignition cut-off switch or short in the wiring harness that was causing my problems. He told me to research it on the internet. I did and I found other Jeep owners with the same issue and resolved it with a repair. My question is this. Why won't Chrysler own up to this problem and fix it?

In may of 2014 I replaced my starter because when I would attempt to start my vehicle it would crank but the engine would not turn over. The condition persisted even after putting on an new starter. I eventually went to a Jeep dealer and they were unable to remedy the problem. I received a recall notice from Chrysler about P41/NHTSA 14V-438 recall but was not given a time frame as to when I would be able to take the vehicle in for servicing. In the meantime I continue to drive the one vehicle and it has continued to not start in instances when I need it most. It has done so while my wife had the vehicle which has caused me great distress as she was alone and panicked when it happened. The vehicle does start eventually after about 20 minutes or so. This is unsafe and unacceptable. We spoke to a representative at the dealership where the vehicle was purchased and she told us she could not say when the part would be available. She went on to say we could wait it out or trade it in and basically tack on the amount owed on to the purchase of another vehicle. This is not an option. This situation is very inconvenient as I use the vehicle primarily to commute to work and if unable to drive to work our household income will take a huge blow. We seek remedy.
