When going over speed bumps my vehicle stalls. This is the third time this has happened in the last 2 months. I've brought it to the dealership multiple times. Each time I've been told there is no problem, or that I need spark plugs replaced, or the throttle body needs to be cleaned....nothing has helped!

The contact owns a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4. While parked, the contact noticed pieces of the steering wheel were detaching and falling off. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostics. The technicians stated the steering wheel would have to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and agreed to cover a portion of the repairs. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.

Steering is extremely loose causing the vehicle to drift into different lanes. The steering then tightens back up. This happens upon start up of the vehicle.
