May [XXX] 2023 - Car would stop, shift in neutral going at any speed. had to pull over stop car, restart and slow start again while jeep would shift, jump and clutch. May [XXX] - Jeep was in shop to put a "bandaid" over issue. May [XXX] 2024 - Car transmission doing same issue along with a leak. Car would shift in neutral on hiway, transmission sounds like it's dropping. -----[XXX] This recap is exactly what is happening to my jeep but for some reason my VIN is not protected under this same issue but I do have the same engine. The problem with my vehicle is with emissions system which was covered under the Ecodiesel Extended Warranty lawsuit the EPA filed against the manufacturer Stellantis. My jeep has been down at Crystler Dodge Jeep Ram dealerships for 2 years. The extended warranty states they would repair problems, but they have not. I was told today that they will only give me 8741 for my car but they want to keep it. I-??ve had to go to the hospital twice from the first dealership that had my car for a whole year giving me carbon monoxide poisoning. I-??ve been paying full coverage insurance for 2 years. This manufacturer has placed and is placing me in a hardship. They said they would/ coukd repair my car and stayed in writing they would have certified techs working on my car, they had the parts manager working on my car and almost killed me. Now, their leadership is trying to bully me into selling them my car for this low ball amount. Why didn-??t they offer to buyback before putting me through 2 years of hell. Is it Leah-??s to breach a binding legal contract they agreed to honor. I am aware they are to suffer penalties for not honoring the warranty, and for not keeping databases updated by VIN. I was told my parts weren-??t covered for months, I had to constantly show them the warranty said the parts were covered they trying to charge me for. I want my vehicle fixed under the extended warranty. I want compensation for this excessive time, and for them not honoring the consent decree they told the EPA and NHTSA they would honor. Please help me get my vehicle fixed under my extended warranty. My car is covered til 199,189 miles or May 13, 2024. I really need help, the manufacturer is not adhering to the consent decree they promised the government and NHTSA they would.

While driving at about 50 mph, the transmission shifted into neutral and would not allow me to shift it back into drive while moving or stopped. This put me in a very dangerous situation as I was in traffic and in the left lane on a 4-lane road. After about 10 minutes of the engine being shut off, it started again and ran just fine. A check engine light did come on, giving error code P0205 and U0002-88 when scanned. I believe the latter code is a stored code from a previous issue. No warning lights were on immediately prior to the incident. This is the second time it has happened in the span of about 4 months. The mechanic was not able to diagnose the cause after the first occurrence. After the second occurrence, the local Jeep dealer was contacted; they were not aware of any such issues and recommended adding fuel injector cleaner and changing the spark plugs/getting a tune up. The dealer did not inspect the car. The next day the check engine light went off, though the code may be stored in the car-??s memory.

7/2020 lifters and cam failure @65k miles. 4+ weeks dealership did repairs. They never disclosed the major engine repair or gave me any paperwork while I waited to pick up this jeep after I purchased it. 8/2020 lifters and cam repaired. 19 miles & 1 day spun crankshaft bearings & damaged cylinder walls. 1.5 weeks for dealership to get a new Mopar 6.4 Hemi long block vvt mds engine. 8/2020 new Mopar long block 6.4 hemi installed at dealership. paid $2k since I didn't know about the dealerships concealed major repairs. 8 dealership and 3 penzoil. All (0w40 penzoil ultra-platinum) Dealership maintained & repaired pads/rotors..Waterpump..headlight bulbs and some other minor things. 10/2023 38k miles later the new engine had lifter and camshaft failure. Dealership said the 60/100k warranty I paid for with the previous mopar long block engine purchase was not activated ànd they had no record of it other then the work order/repair bill I have, with start date & miles and end date & miles And deductible. Jeep customer care said my jeep was imported from Canada and is void of any and all parts warranty. So that's why dealership couldn't register my jeeps engine warranty. Sale person said the jeep was USA built spec but it's a Quebec Canadian build spec imported into USA. I got the original window sticker downloaded its French & metric. So no warranty. Fraudulent sale of a gray market import with no disclosure of the major issue they tried to repair while I waited for my jeep. I already purchased it $37k but was waiting on them to prep it for sale and deal with my trade in. Low mile 2013 dodge charger RT max AWD with every option and dealership maintained. I filed a complaint with NHTSA for defects and another for the Fraudulent concealment of known a major engine failure along with concealment of repair attempts/defect though BBB, Google and consumer car complaints. Was driving and vehicle overheated and in seconds my motor locked up right in the middle of an intersection tried to reach out to the dealership I bout it from. They sold and the old owner had everything never got back to me still to this day no one has helped me just found out about you guys so I am still here paying on a vehicle that's motor locked up on me! The car down shifts while apply light pressure to the gas pedal mostly on an incline there is a slight clunk and the engine shuts off. This mostly happens at 70 MPH on the highway from 8th gear to 7th gear but has happened in lower gears as well. The power to the engine is cut. Everything else works no lights flash just no power to the motor. I have to pull over put the car in park and restart and the car drives normal again. This happens about once per month but I baby the car so it could occur more often if I push the engine more. A great example is if I am behind someone about 50 mph and coasting then I press on the gas pedal to pass them the car seems like it will gasp for fuel then clunk and the engine shuts off. This has been going on for several year now and no one has an answer. The dealership said once there were no codes, another time they said the oil pressure switch is bad. The car now has 172,000 miles on it however this has been happening when the car had under 140,000 miles on it.

After doing a search I have noticed 2014 jeeps have been recalled for this issue, although when I entered my VIN a recall didn't come up.

In Aug my warning light came on, I called Mopar was given a case number it was not until October that I was contacted after repeatedly calling for status. The is was the EGR Cooler which Mopar showed had been replaced when recall issued, I was advised by Stellantis to have towed to dealer, it was towed Oct 15, dealer advised it was replaced a few years earlier but I provided proof it had not, dealer then replaced but then advised it could not be cranked due to not holding coolant, it was not doing this prior to being towed. I need help! Please! My car is under the X78 Extended Ecodiesel Warranty. The Government (EPA) sued FCA back in 2019 for making these cars with over 14 illegal deletes, like Volkswagen. Instead of making them buy the cars back, they let them say they would make all repairs related to this huge list of components. I-??ve had nothing but problems the past almost 2 years. My jeep was at one dealership a full year. Now it-??s at another dealership in Ennis Texas for about 59 days now.. My jeep went into limp in mode in front of an 18- wheeler on interstate 45, I was almost killed. I was so afraid! I sent a letter requesting they contact the manufacturer as they have said so on the paperwork. I-??ve gone to get my car 4 tiles and it-??s still not repaired. I get a text message on Saturday telling me my Jeep is fixed and ready" I-??m not getting into that vehicle again, my daughter is having nightmares, she-??s asked me please don-??t drive that car again! Two open recalls on the vehicle (6/9/22 and 6/8/23) that have no repair available. 1. Both recalls can result in immediate and unexpected loss of vehicle power and "cause a vehicle to crash without prior warning" 2. DMV (CA Registered) will not issue current registration tags or paperwork due to recalls being incomplete. 3. Vehicle has had multiple issued related Diesel Engine, including entering into limp mode unexpectedly and incomplete diesel exhaust regeneration which has made it unsafe to drive at highway speeds. I have attempted to call the dealership every month and each time they have no solution as the manufacturer has not released a repair.
