Passenger head restraint headrest deploys without collision. While parked in driveway overnight, (popped open and forward). Dealership found no faults

My vehicle has the very well known problem for delamination of the dashboard. My airbag light has flickered on the dash a few times and dealership says that this is a big safety concern. It looks like it may be putting tension on the passenger side airbag creating risk of early deployment or failure to deploy in an accident. It already cracked my defroster vent.

Our son, 18 years old, driving our 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited had a rollover accident and ZERO air bags deployed. The State Patrol, Tow personal and owner of the tow yard is questioning why the air bags did not deploy. This accident was at 1030ish on 9/17/2021. The car rolled over and landed on its top. The vehicle is a total loss. Our auto insurance is involved in this loss. Open claim. I called Jeep Customer Support and they have a case open on this. I feel lost over this issue. Why did the air bags not deploy? Please help me find answers. Our son busted the side door out and was able to exit the vehicle. I have pictures ect if needed. I am not 100% of the miles.. In 2018, my 2014 Chrysler/Jeep Grand Cherokee dashboard material had started to dislodge from the dash. I reached out to Jeep and they denied anything was wrong with the dash on their end and it was my fault for improper care of the car. I found this to be in contrast with research online of a large amount of complaints for the same model as mine suffering the same dashboard glue issues. In December of 2019, I received a notice from Jeep that they would be replacing the dashboard so in January of 2020 I dropped my car off at the local dealership, Joey Accardi. After not hearing from them, I sent an email on February 12, 2020 requesting an update. They advised they submitted a request for approval of the replacement to Jeep and were waiting to hear back. I picked up my vehicle as they could not provide a replacement timeline. After waiting several months I reached out to Jeep customer care Reference #75788102 and they advised they attempted to reach out to the dealership for an update with no response. After getting a response several days later they advised it was ordered and should arrive shortly. After waiting to hear back through the rest of 2020, I reached out again in February of 2021 to Jeep customer care Reference #78420942 and they "escalated" my issue to someone who called the dealership and was told it would arrive in May of 2021. They closed my case on February 5th without any further help or confirmation of receipt of part. I reached out again today, September 9th and received no help or any indication of replacement timeline. It has now been 3 years since I brought this to Jeeps attention and 22 months since they authorized replacement. My concern now is the dashboard material has dislodged two of my AC vents and has folded over where my airbag would deploy potentially causing harm or failure if the airbag were to attempt to deploy. This is clearly an issue with this year and model Jeep and they aren't remedying it potentially putting people in danger.

Passenger headrest popped open randomly while driving. Inspection is available upon request. My understanding is that this only occurs if a collision is detected. However no collision occured. No one was injured however had my wife been sitting there she could have easily been injured. The headrest could have smacked the back of her head. No warning lamps indicated anything wrong no warning occured before the deployment of the headrest. This seems to be an ongoing problem amongst jeep grand Cherokee owners.

I collided with the drivers door to the rear of the vehicle at a 20 mph speed. The other vehicles air bags deployed. My Jeep sustained front damage a cracked hood, grill, from bumper torn off I broke my right foot. My air bags didn't deploy on the impact and I didn't feel or see a sensor emergency braking

My vehicle make and model is under recall for P67 but for some reason my VIN was not included but the person I called at Chrysler said it should have been and told me file a complaint with you to try to help me. I am a caregiver with this one vehicle for my mom who is handicap and 81. I had no choice and had to take her out to the dr for a flu shot and my seat belt is broke and I cant use it and airbags disabled due to seat belt broken. I had to stop fast and pulled my neck 11/30/20.. please help us get under this recall.P67. I don't have the $ to pay 1,000 to get it fixed when I should have been under the recall with the other 2014 jgc at same mileage when it went out. How did my Jeep get missed for this recall" please investigate and help me. I know how have a hurt neck. No protection at all. The seat belt broke when I got in my car weeks ago. I was not in motion and I felt it get loose when I got in. Iit was on the floor. It just broke and no retraction. Help us please> P67. Get me under that recall. Many complaints by owners at this same milage is seeing this issue. I am not alone in this issue. It is a defect. I have never had such a defect with any past cars. Not even older ones. This is madness. It controls all things like airbags, beeps when seat belts are not on..nothing is working now. It is our primary car. When I hurt my neck on 11/30 driving" it was in motion and of course I have no seat belt that works. A car stopped in front of me fast and I was thrown forward and my neck pulled. I sent in complaint # 11374883 on 11/16/20 but needed to add that my airbags are not working either along with this seat belt that the pendulum or motor has broken. I understand the airbags are tied into it the P67 recall as well. They are not working either and my warning system is no longer telling me my ab or seat belt is not working or on. Recall P67 was my model and make Jeep but my VIN was not included for some reason. I called GM as the recall stated and they said they don't know why my VIN was not part of the recall and should have been, . they advised me to reach out to you and ask you to get this added to that recall as the issues match and are the same for other owners of the same vehicle I have and year and model. Please, my safety is compromised and I do not have the funds to get this defect fixed. I am the caregiver to my sick 81 yr old handicapped mother and I need safety when carrying my 81 yr old mother around. The passenger side will go next as reported by others on the threads I see. This issue occurred at the mileage others said it did to theirs. 14,000+ as a matter of fact. Please, get me under this recall for my Jeep gc limited 2014 model. This is clearly a defect as was my oil sensor that had no issues at all but a warning light that came on.. I had it fixed at $550 back 2 yrd ago. Many other same complaints but no recall. Chrysler filed bankruptcy. You are truly, my only hope to get this under the P67 recall as it should have been when my model and mileage is the same as others when the issues occurred. Please help me. I have never had this happen in any of my past cars or my husbands old car or my daughters cars. This is a defect and my families safety is at risk as this is our main vehicle. Please help and get me under that recall. I am praying about this, that you will help us to get this defect resolved under P67.

After parking vehicle in my driveway at home, I opened the door and rotated my body to exit the car when I heard a very loud 'pop' and realized the headrest had come very far forward. I found pieces of plastic in the seat behind me and am unable to move the headrest back to a 'closed' position.

There was no contact made to my vehicle, the headrest just exploded and sprung forward. Nobody was injured. My driver side headrest has come loose, it's the cushioned part that your head actually rests on and it contains an airbag so I am concerned the airbag may inflate while I am driving. I have taken it to my local Jeep dealer and they say I have to pay to have it replaced. The cost is $750 plus installation.
