Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates
Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: ? P0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1. ? P0430 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2. ? P0606 - Internal Control Processor. Customer may also experience the following: ? While the engine is running, customer may experience a vehicle limp in/home mode (speed limitation, engine throttle limitation and the ETC light flashing and MIL will be on) or the vehicle may experience a no-start condition. NOTE: Associated with DTC: P0606 - Internal Control Processor. This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software.
